This is a good quality & affordable beginner's telescope. If you are a stargazer, keep in mind the moon & stars travel across the sky faster than we think. Expect to be continuously moving the telescope to keep an object in view. If you want to catch a child's interest, you might consider one with a computerized motor control.

Much more than I expected. Quality scope. Backpack of for storage and travel is also much more than expected for the price. Would recommend.

easy set up and easy to use; I love how compact and user friendly the travel scope is; I like to put it in my back pack and hike to top of a mountain to get a better view at the stars.

It is a very good telescope if you are starting the visual exploration in space, is extremely complete and is extremely light, I got it for my birthday and I loved it.

It is a little tricky getting the camera lined up. You may want to get a 3rd party camera app for your phone. Other than that it works great. Tri-pod is flimsy. Wasn't an issue for us, we just used our Manfrotto tripod.
