Cool zombie film based on a novel by Stephen king! Included digital copy!

So yes this film has its flaws - It should have been made sooner when the concept of the cell phone user was a lot less common than it is today. They also should have (as always) stuck closer to the novel itself. That being said this IS a pretty good film. Well worth the watch

Good movie for the price. I like Stephen king movies.

Have been a long-time Stephen King fan, back in the days of Carrie, the Stand, Creepshow(!) and Firestarter. Wife read the novel a number of years ago, and happened to see this on the rack, so I picked it up, figuring nothing written by The Master can be bad (although screenplay writers sometimes miss the boat). This one falls into the entertaining, and eye-opening category. The entire time we were watching this, the fact that this is where society has gone and someone with a nefarious plot (and a lot of money) could make this happen. As with most things, Stephen King is out ahead of everyone else with the zombie apocalypse! John Cusack (where has he been - we missed him in the movies?!) and Samuel L. Jackson work well together, and the ensemble cast make this a great Friday night movie with the kids - teenage or adult only. Would watch it again, and probably will.

While this movie is good, it does not live up to the novel it is based on by Stephen King. Cusack and Samuel L Jackson, back together on screen, do a fine job but I was really hoping this movie would have followed the book a little more than it did. Still enjoyable, just could have been much better.

First thought: John Cusack and Samuel L Jackson...how could they not make an amazing movie out of a really good Stephen King book! The movie adaptation of the book is absolutely bad. Not even Cusack and Jackson could save this one. If it is in the 5 dollar bin or on cable, watch it, if not, check out the book at your local library...the book is MUCH better than the movie!

Pretty good job of staying with the Stephen King book, except for the ending...which was OK...but not the same Still glad I got it and watched it.........enjoyable twist on the zombie trend and always fun to see Samuel Jackson in a movie ! Whenever I see the real life zombies walking, driving or yes, riding a Harley & texting...I get a little smile on my face & think of this movie....

But also not the best king adaption. In times of the walking dead show, it's hard to get shocked by such a set up. Too close to TWD, even though Kings book had a different Intension. But nevertheless, a nice Halloween movie. I'd watch it again

Good movie, but not the greatest. I was pleased Jackson wasn't overly vulgar! Decent acting by all, but again, this is another "End of the World" movie. However, the ending gives you something to guess at. Overall, I'd actually recommend renting instead of buying.

Good survival action thriller. Cusack and Jackson work well together in this movie. Good flowing storyline, believable tension building scenes, doesn't feel contrived.

A Stephen King adaptation that doesn't follow the source material. I still think it's an okay zombie apocalypse movie because of John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson. The pacing is slower, so proceed with caution.

I was expecting more from this movie. It just kind of started. No real character development in my opinion. It wasn't all bad but I'll stick to the book.

When you watch a movie and it's good all the way through and then all the sudden the ending makes you so upset I did like the movie but you will be upset

Cell is an ok movie. Like a lot of others if you read the book first you will be somewhat disappointed. This is more of a rental movie than a purchase.

I wanted to like this movie... It was definitely unique; I'll give it that much. I am a fan of John Cusack, and everyone likes Samuel L Jackson, but while watching this movie I couldn't shake the feeling that something was missing. The budget was obviously low, which doesn't always make a movie bad by any means, but here it showed. Maybe a re-write or two was all it needed. I don't regret seeing it, but I will never watch it again.

Didn't like the movie as much as I enjoyed the book the movie was nothing like the book very disappointed about how the movie came out

I do like both of these main actors but they could have done a little more with movie script. It still was an ok movie.

I purchased the "Cell" movie on Blu-Ray. The movie was well-done and kept you at the edge of your seat - better than a zombie movie, in my opinion.

I was hoping this would be intense thriller, with a profound ending, it was ok, and not all that intense.
