I purchased this to upgrade my home internet speed and add wifi in one unit. This works decent enough. It is an upgrade from the modem that I received from CenturyLink.

This product was a little confusing to set up, but after we got it figured out it was great, and put out a very strong signal for the other side of our house.

I purchased a new CenturyLink DSL modem when my old one "gave up the ghost". This new one is economical, efficient and has a pleasant appearance (in the appliance). I look forward to many years of reliable connectivity via this new modem.

This was a very easy modem to setup. I like that it includes the wireless router. I have a 2200 square foot house, 2 stories with no dead spots with this modem.

Had to replace a 5 year old Moduem that wasn't working any longer. Being a centurylink customer their aren't many options out there if you want to guarantee yourself reliability. This one meet the requirement.

I bought this for CenturyLink wireless in my business. The first modem/router, that I will not name, I tried did not work with CenturyLink business Wi-Fi even though I use it at my home. This branded product installed and connected like a charm. I would recommend it if you are using CenturyLink.

I bought this for my 89 year old mother-in-law so she could receive/send emails, Facebook family, Skype & etc. I'm a 70 year old "non-techie" and I was able to install and get it up and running with no problem. Made my mother-in-law and my wife happy campers. When Momma is happy, everybody is happy.

I purchased this router/modem for our vacation home. There is no cell service anywhere near it so DSL was our only link to the rest of the world. We have a VoIP phone and several devices hooked to this router and have had no problems with running anything. Great product great price easy to set up.

If you're subscribing to CenturyLink internet, I recommend this product. You can save a few bucks by buying it directly from Best Buy instead of from CenturyLink themselves when you sign up for their service, since they'll charge you an outrageous $15 shipping fee on top of the price of the modem itself (which is the same price as it is sold at Best Buy). I wish the price were a bit lower, but so far it's been a stable product. In my old apartment my former roommate and I used the same model as well, and it would sometimes need to be power-cycled - but this was a rare occurrence.

Modem works exactly as it's supposed to. Setup was easy, with slight complications with an extender, but that's a combination of both devices. Gave off a noticeable odor, like hot electronics when new, but that has dissipated, and wasn't a functional problem. Talks to my new wifi printer just fine.

I was a little skeptical about having to purchase a century link branded router. The router was very easy to setup and works great. It was also cheaper to pick up in the store instead of having to pay shipping through centurylink.

I purchased this DSL router to replace my old Q1000 that wasn't really working anymore. So far it's been a great improvement. It boosted my DSL speed, improved the routing of traffic throughout my house, and has lots of great advanced features. It was super easy to set up and took less than 5 min.

My CenturyLink internet connection degraded. After hours of troubleshooting, they said I needed a new router. Directed me to BestBuy to purchase one. They had it in stock, bought it and was installed in minutes. Works great.

This modem and wifi combo has easy to follow instructions and sets up quickly and easily. All cords were included and they were longer than many that you get with electronics which worked well for me. Operating Lights are bright making it easy to see if everything is connected correctly.

This is the second unit I have purchased from Best Buy. the first one got very warm and started to smell after about a week.this one did not got hot but it did give off an odor for a couple of weeks.

My router modem went bad and I needed to replace it immediately. My IT tech told me to go to Best Buy and they would fix me up. I went in and got the replacement and took it home All it took was to plug it in and we were back in service. It is working great and I am very happy with it.

The modem and built-in router is relatively easy to set up, and it is much cheaper than buying one from Century Link. Everything works. One complaint is that th wifi range of the router is on the weaker side. My previous router easily reached all of my rooms; this one struggles with the ones farthest away from it. Also, and it could be that I haven't figured it out yet, I haven't been able to hide my wifi network (keep it from being discoverable).

This is an awesome product. It was super easy to set up and the wifi range is better than the previous model.

This modem is the only one that Centurylink supports from what I was told.I decided to go this route and then buy a faster router then disable the wireless on the modem and run my wireless through the external router. This way if something happens to the modem I can get support through Centurylink. I've been using this modem for a couple of years and wish I would have purchased my own a long time ago. I've paid well over $200 in modem rental fees before deciding to buy my own. It's a good modem just not that great on wireless speed compared to the new 802.11 ac modems out now. There are other modems compatible with their service but I've had previous problems with trying to get support on a different modem. It's really the only choice.

Purchased this to upgrade a friends DSL from a netgear and it was really easy to setup. unexpectedly it fixed some some of the issues with internet explorer and a few other issues we thought were software problems.
