Modem has been doing well, very reliable with no drop in router signal over the past 9 months. Of course, I wish I could have cable in my area, not DSL., but if you are stuck at least this modem is solid.

This modem/router is plug and play when used with CenturyLink's internet service. I could have waited a week or two for one to arrive from CenturyLink but, I purchased this one from Best Buy because I needed internet access immediately and CenturyLink could initiate my account over the phone at any time. Another alternative would have been to purchase a (less expensive) ADSL modem made by another manufacturer but, it probably would need to be configured and CenturyLink does not support them.

My last Zytel device just died. Bought the CenturyLink C1000A ADSL/VDSL as the replacement. Has a number of nice features with a simple to use GUI interface; however, the only feature I was interested in was Bridge mode since I have a Linksys EA6300 Smart-WiFi Router. I use the C1000A as a bridge between my network and the internet. I am a master systems / network tech and feel comfortable saying that even non-tech types could set this device up as there standard router

I have not used this as a router so I cannot comment on how well it works in that department. I have been using it in link mode to connect to an airport time capsule and it works great no problems whatsoever. It's design is nothing special and looks like it never made it out of the 90s so I tuck it away in a breathable space and don't even have to think about. Works great As is not as easy as my time capsule to install and work with but it's fairly simple with a little bit of modem/router knowledge.

Setup was very easy and century link is less expensive than most internet providers.

I purchased this DSL modem for CenturyLink's broadband internet service. I wanted to stop leasing the rental modem they charge you on every bill. So far I have decided I made the right decision.

My old Q1000 model had plenty of problems. Got an intermittent internet cut off. After installing the newer model, I got a very fast internet connection together with the reliable WiFi connection.

This machine so far has done its job and been connecting me to the internet and wireless. Friends love it when they come over

easy installation and easy to get going, had it all done and going in under an hour, and very easy to do my own wifi password

I was glad to see that I could get the exact same modem that I was renting for $10 a month! WAY cheaper than renting!!

Good modem if you have Century Link service. Solid features and easy to install.

Nothing bad or overly good about thus product and it was the only option as a Century Link customer, but it works great.

Seemed straightforward to set up; seems to work ok so far, no issues as of yet. can only be used with Century Link

This product was purchased at the direction of my internet provider. The product was easy to hook up and install. It is an awesome product!

I reviewed this product when my daughter moved into an apartment. The other reviewers were correct. Plug it in and you are ready to use.

Works as good as expected, perfect for Century Link customer and recommended by them for my use and available immediately. Easy to set up with directions and a little experience.

Very easy to set up. I called Dish (I have Century Link through Dish) to help me. But the instructions were easy to follow and I am 78.

Has made internet connection great but there was a high level of confusion in the way Best Buy handled the ordering of this product, We purchased the unit then were sent a second unit by Century Link and began to be charged a monthly fee for a unit we did not order and had no use for. It was resolved by us but not until we lost our internet connection for several days.

I didn't expect this product to be so easy to set up. I don't like the fact that I can't set it for ipv6 l.
