This device is very easy to set up and can be done very quickly too. The app is simple and works great. The only thing missing to my opinion is the possibility to get a notification when one forgot to close the garage door. The app can send notifications when someone opens the door and/or closes the door. Nothing can be scheduled when there is an omission.

I bought this item to use with my MyQ compatible garage door opener that was installed on the house I recently purchased. It works great. Pretty easy to set up, plug in the power, plug it into your router, download the app and follow the instructions. The app is super basic, nothing fancy, but it works. Overall I am completely satisfied, I do wish the actual gateway connected via WiFi rather than having to be hardwired, but whatever. I was also able to connect the garage door opener to my smart hub (wink) after installing this item.

After much research, I settled on the myQ line of products due to it's ease of use and not to mention that it offers what I'm looking for. The internet gateway controls your garage doors and any component that is connected to your garage door, such as a light switch or lamp control.

We bought this to go with the new garage door opener that we also purchased from Best Buy. It allows us to control our garage door from an app on our phones from anywhere. It is awesome.

I purchased the MyQ Gateway to go with my Chamberlin garage door opener. The gateway works perfectly. It even work with the wink hub flawlessly. Perfect way to eliminate the ugly keypads on the outside of the garage doors

This gateway works with the my app and the wink app. It was a breeze to set up. Just plug it into power and ethernet and ffed it the serial number of the opener you want to control. It works with lift master stuff too!

It was the device recommended by the manufacturer, so I followed their suggestion, and it worked the way they said it wood and I was able to activate it myself with no help from tech support. I can now also add other gadgets to control with my phone, tablet etc. now that I have this device installed.

This item works great. I wish it was wireless meaning I did not have to physically plug it into my router, but nonetheless it allows me to control my garage door from my phone. The app is very simple, I feel they could have done better with it, but it works. I like that I am able to integrate this into my Wink system and control it with other items in my house from that single app. Had it been wireless, and the app was a little better designed, it would have got 5 stars. Overall I am satisfied.

Works great! Wish i bought it sooner. In addition to being able to open the garage door with my phone, you can set up emails and notifications if the door is left open under certain circumstances. You can even see how long the door has been opened or closed.

It is so helpful for me and the wife that have brain fats if we don't remember to close the garage. Or if we are doing yard work can use it close and open it instead of running before garage closes and carrying the opener everywhere.

This item does not work with Motorola modems. So if you have motorola modems you need to change it before buy it.
