I used to think I'd need to replace my whole garage door opener to have a smart one, but this product gave me the same functionality, very affordably! It was easy to set up. I just followed the instructions on the screen. The hardest part was figuring out where the learn button was on my existing opener so I could pair the MyQ. This doesn't replace my existing garage door remote but gives an addition remote control option. Now my teenagers can open the garage with the MyQ app on their phones, and I can open or cost it remotely. If I'm ever worried I forgot to close it, the app quickly eases my mind or takes care of that for me. I have the app set to require a long press to open the door, to prevent accidentally opening it. You can even schedule your garage door to close at certain time if you like to leave it open during the day but close it at night. An installation note: The instructions say you can't leave the receiver on a shelf and it needs to be attached to the garage wall and specifically says not to put it on a shelf. I temporarily placed it on a shelf above the outlet and it's been working flawlessly for a few weeks.

Definitely does what it advertised. Let’s you open and close from phone also alerts you when opened or closed. Let’s people deliver to garage. Only sometimes you have to open and close the app for it to work. Reasonable price for peace of mind of breakins or “did I leave the garage open.” Picture of app.

Lost my opener (fell out of car door panel) and cost for new replacement unit is excessive..., bought Chamberlain myQ Smart Garage Control and now can open door on multiple phones to monitor as well - terrific device! Not-too-difficult to understand and set up; really excellent and useful device

Awesome Wi-Fi garage opener and very easy to setup! I was up and running in 15 minutes hooking this up to my 15 year old Craftsman garage door opener. The package contains one hub and one sensor to control one garage door. The hub can control 2 doors, so if you have 2 doors, you will have to buy an additional sensor

Does not work with all brands, but will keep trying until it pairs. Great little unit to have if you tend to forget if the garage was closed / opened when you left the house. Can maintain your garage door from virtually anywhere from the world.

It's a great addition to any smart home. I have a Lift Master motor and this thing connected to it easily. We're also renting and this was simple to set up. The transmitter attaches to the corner of the garage door with double sided 3M tape. The hub doesn't have to be mounted on the ceiling. I have mine mounted on the wall opposite the big garage door. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because there's been a 5 minute delay when the door opens or closes to when I get notified on my phone. A lot can happen in those 5 minutes.

Easy set up and mount, works like a charm! High recommend. The instructional videos are very clear and easy to understand. It pairs just the same as your typical garage opener.

Everything from setting this up to using the app was very easy! This was the perfect solution for enabling guests / friends or even Amazon deliveries access to my garage remotely right from my phone! The first cycle of battery life has lasted me a little over a year and will even continue to work even when notified that a battery replacement is needed! Great product overall!

The set up process was easy thanks to the video guide and app instructions. Although not advertised, I was also able to open/close the garage door with Siri for free. You will need to download a free app called LiveKey (formerly known as Simple Commands). After connecting myQ to LiveKey, you can create a Shortcut by adding a LiveKey action (see pictures)

The Chamberlain MyQ Smart Garage Control works exactly as advertised. It is a great convenience to have. I highly recommend it to anybody who has family that comes by and needs into the house before anybody is home.

I had 3 new garage doors installed, so I bought 2 myQ Smart Garage Control units from Best Buy and 1 additional sensor from Chamberlain because Best Buy does not sell the sensors by themselves. One controller can operate 2 doors. Each unit comes with 1 controller and 1 sensor. They work great and are pretty easy to install, even for someone who is not handy.

Chamberlain - myQ Smart Garage Control Works great. It reports to my cell phone that my garage doors (2) are either opened or closed very very quickly-takes 13 seconds It was easy to pair with my Genie garage door openers, really it is the best wireless product I have purchased in a long time. It has a much faster response than my ring doorbell. I have ordered the Chamberlain camera for the garage. I hope it works just as good.

Installation was easy for a 73 YO. Downloaded the app to my iphone and connected receiver to my wifi. Was up and running in less than 1/2 hour with my Lift Master garage door opener. Added my wife as a user too.

I bought this MyQ bridge about a year ago, and it was working great, I really enjoyed it. I had it liked to Home Assistant and I could easily monitor and control my garage door. I could have it turn on a yellow light in the house so I could see if the door was open, and I could have it automatically open the door when I entered my driveway, and automatically close it, it was fantastic. However, around October of 2023 I started having issues with Home Assistant, so all the stuff that made my garage door smart stopped working. Turns out that Chamberlain (the company behind MyQ, who also makes Lift Master and Craftsman garage door openers) decided to cut off "unauthorized api access to provide customers with the best experience", which is corporate speak for "we want to be able to charge every customer a monthly subscription for the stuff they already paid for", and the only available services are mostly for a small selection of newer model cars, and yes you need to pay monthly. Making matters worse, even their app has mysteriously stopped working too, even though before October it always worked flawlessly. What a coincidence. Now, about 90% of the time the garage door simply shows up as offline on the app so I can't even get in to my house through the garage. Rebooting the gateway or the wifi doesn't fix the issue either. I have perfect wifi reception in my garage (the router is in the garage) and I'm not using a VPN on my phone either. Overall this is an awful product that the company won't stand behind, but will instead use to nickel and Dime their customers. Disgusting.

I purchased this recently and so far it is working great! It is really amazing. You got notified when the garage door opens and closes! You don’t have to worry about doubting whether you closed your garage door or not when you left home! The app will notify you and you can manage it from anywhere as long as your device has internet connection! I will definitely recommend this to anyone! MyQ garage door opener is great and very affordable!

Its worked excellent first 4 months and now the device disappeared from the app, tried multiple times but not connnecting. Same issue with other people on reddit. If you are looking for 2,3 months usage. Its great but not for long term.its stays like disconnected .

Easy installation. We can now open our garage for deliveries without having to be at home physically. Wish we had bought this a while back!

This product worked very well. It was simple to set up and with an extra adapter i could control two garage doors.
