There are a lot of political movies that take a jab at one side of the aisle. This movie isn't a attack, it is facts of a death and a coverup.

In terms of a drama, this is very well done, with plenty of twists and observations about human frailty and more noble moments. Generally Ted Kennedy does not come off as very noble, but as rather weak and indecisive, certainly no hero. But most of us might have acted the same way in that situation. He appears as very human. The viewer does get to see the deference the legal process extends to the very powerful. The movie induced me to check the internet to see how factual it was. It is a good depiction of the facts as Ted Kennedy presented them to the authorities and public. It thus is as much a docudrama as it is dramatic movie.

Ted Kennedy should have been thrown out of office after this incident. Very revealing that power and money can get anyone away with a crime. I am not saying he killed her on purpose but he was wrong at leaving the scene and acting the way he did. And he lectured us on morality? Glad he is gone!

Can't help but wonder how much of Chappaquiddick is based on fact and how much was fabricated to make the story more interesting. I enjoyed watching this because I remember hearing about it when I was in High School.

I think that "Chappaquiddick" was one of the greatest historical films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite historical films of all-time. I first saw this film in theaters and I immediately enjoyed it. I also think that "Chappaquiddick" had a lot of entertaining, exciting and enjoyable mystery and suspense including an amazing and original personal/historical storyline.

Found the story to be quite interesting as I grew up knowing about the story but not too sure about all the details. The movie was quite interesting and I'd recommend to others who are curious about the details leading up to the event as well as consequences afterwards!

This was a good movie based on the story of Ted Kennedy's car accident. I remember the time and the news reports from that era, Good acting!

A solid film about the Kennedy's, specifically Ted, and the power they had. An interesting look at an interesting family at least.

I’m a sucker for anything revolving around the Kennedy family. LOVE Kate Mara. She deserves more credit in Hollywood!

If you thought that the Kennedy name could not be tarnished, you are wrong. This is factual storyline about what actually happened at Chappaquiddick. If you admired Ted Kennedy in the past, you may change your mind!
