Neil Blomkamps trilogy if movies completed. For the sale price of this 4k is definitely worth for any fan of his movies. Recommend

A fun watch for a little futuristic Sci-Fi romp. Enjoyed watching with my Wife, a little crude at times in the language department, so wouldn't recommend for younger audiences. Good special effects and an ok storyline.

Awesome effects, plot is nothing really new but it is a very thought provoking movie which you will be talking about afterwards. Warning, if you are a religious zealot you might want to skip this one as it could offend you.

This a is great movie about a robot who is convinced that he's human. Full of action violence, sadness, and joy. Really good combination of everything with a great ending, a must have for the movie enthusiast....

I don’t think this was scanned into 4K or digitally restored like the other two in the Blompkamp trilogy, but the HDR is fine and it has Atmos.

With Dian Antwoord, Sharlto Copley, Dev Patel, Hugh Jackman and Sigourney Weaver I figured that I would watch it in the theaters before deciding to purchase the movie on Blu-ray and I enjoyed it enough to now own the movie. The visual effects and sound were very good and the action kept it going for me. Wish it were released in 3D but the way it was filmed, some sections surely feel as if I'm watching it in 3D.

I enjoyed watching this movie. It had good actors in it and the plot was good. The special features definitely added to the overall experience. There are discussions about how the movie was made and the ideas behind it.

I liked the movie, it could have been better, but was overall entertaining. From a technical standpoint it looks and sounds great on Blu-ray. Good movie for the collection if you can pick it up for under 10 bucks.

i personally enjoyed this movie and its plot. full of action and leaves the viewer contemplating the nature of AI. but the 4k was absolutely mind blowing on my sony 4k hdr set. the colors were fantastic and were popping off the screen. the sky looked so realistic. the definition of facial expressions and the robots were jaw dropping. this movie is a must buy to show off your new 4k hdr set!

This was a fun film. I was disappointed with the initial reviews. I am glad I ignored them. This is a sweet, if somewhat off-beat film, very much along the lines if District 9 (unsurprisingly). Give this one a shot.

If you appreciate the style of District 9 you won't want to miss this film. Otherwise, see District 9 first - if you don't like that you probably won't like this. (BTW, Chappie is not a sequel to District 9)

After repeat viewings, this film grew on me. If you like it for what it is, it is extremely enjoyable. The 4k transfer is excellent.

This movie is not exactly what we expected, however, it ended up being a pretty good action movie. There were moments that were kind of stupid (how the robot responded to things) but overall, not a bad movie.

Very good movie. The same guy who wrote and directed District 9 and Elysium wrote and directed this one. So I would watch those before this one. But this is a great movie with great effects and a great story.

Not as good as Elysium, but still a great movie. Not good for kids, as is expected, given language and carnage. Acting and effects were great. Ending could have been better. Alternate ending was even worse.

If you're a fan of Neil Blomkamp's other films (District 9, Elysium), then you're sure to like this. Motion capture once again brings the title character to life in ways practical effects wouldn't allow.

The Blu-ray is a stunning, reference-quality 1080p/AVC MPEG-4 encode, providing the image with a welcomed, appreciable cinematic quality. A wonderful DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Cute, with emotional ups and downs, as well as frustrations, at times. It also raises awareness of the caution humans must use with technology. Are we ready for the the technology we are capable of?

So, I bought this movie because I liked District 9. The movie is oddly reminiscent of District 9, so it seemed a little predictable. However, the graphics were nice, and it was enjoyable to watch.
