I did confirm with Ember support that this does work with both the Ceramic Mug and the Travel Mug before purchasing - and it does work. They stated it was exactly the same technology in a different form factor. So, I purchased this round one to charge my Travel Mug on my end table on the couch, when I'm not at my desk where the other charger is. You can purchase to have one at home and one at the office if you needed.

I received an Ember mug as a gift, which, of course comes with one coaster. This was purchased so I could have one on my desk as well as the kitchen. The cord is long enough to discretely hide and also reach an awkward outlet. Works just as well as the one that came with the mug.

I got this as a spare charging coaster as a bundled add-on for an extra $10 when I bought my Ember 14oz mug. I use my mug mostly at work, but I take it home for the weekends. It's very convenient to have a charging coaster at work and at home so I only have to carry the mug.

I bought this for my office and now I bring my mug back and forth. It is great to have an extra and more cost effective than an additional mug.

You can tell by the feel and weight of this product that is is well made. I actually purchased 2 of them. One for work and home. Very nice.

I would hate to have to keep plugging my Ember mug in. This is a must have if you keep a mug at your desk.

Pros: -All the charging bases fit all mugs and tumblers, v1 or v2. -Extremely simple to use: just place your drink ware on the base. (Five stars for these points!) Cons: -Design triggers our expectation of a saucer: to catch liquid. Yet liquids should never be allowed on any of Ember’s charging bases. The bases aren’t water resistant (and you know, electricity + water = bad). Ember didn’t incorporate induction charging in their drink ware. (Took off one star for tempting fate.)

I needed a second charger when I take the cup to work. Bestbuy had it in the right color.

The Ember charging coasters are great. I have one on my desk and it works like a charm.

The cup and heating unit worked fine. But the cup holds such a small amount that I would have consumed it long before the heating advantage would be necessary, Wish it were much larger.

Must have to keep at the office or alternate location. I keep one at my desk and one in my bedroom. I can make my tea and just take my cup with me without unplugging the base.

We got this one to put in the back room so that we didn’t have to run back and forth to the kitchen to keep the mugs charged.

The cup comes with one of these, but it is handy to have a couple in different places in the house. (Kitchen, Office...) Works great!
