of a classic movie. I still prefer the "WILLI WONKA AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY" because of Gene Wilder and it's surreal atmosphere; but the Tim Burton remake has its good points too.

It was thrilling and entertaining. Even though this movie didn't relate to the book and so much different from the original movie, it was still a great movie. The storyline was not well scripted, but the actors did a great job. The costumes were creative, and the music and stunts that occurred was superb. The kids love this movie which is the most important thing.

Tim Burton delivers another home run with his re-adaptation of the Roald Dahl classic. Johnny Depp once again works fantastically with Burton to give a charming, funny and memorable performance. But the star of this, and all Tim Burton flicks, is the imaginative imagery and cinematography. Tim Burton remains a treasure.

We had a copy of this movie that we lost and we just needed another copy since we love it so much! And this time we got into the extras where my daughter could learn some of the Oopma-Loopma dances - she LOVED it!!

Another incredible film by Tim Burton. It's funny, quirky, and colorful. The score by Danny Elfman has some great themes and I love the new Oompa Loompa songs.

Enjoy the remake, its different than the original but they did a pretty good job and focus on the characters.

Based off the Roald Dahl childrens book, This twisted and bizarre Tim Burton remake of the 1971 classic film is extremely poor. A relatively good cast and production team goes to waste here. Stick with the infinitely better 1971 version starring Gene Wilder and titled 'Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory.
