This doesnt look that much better than watching on streaming services, but if you must own it look for it at a sale price. The movie is compressed on an outdated vc-1 codec. Its a shame because older tim burton films look better on bluray than this.

If you like Johnny Depp you will like him in this. If you like the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, this will give you a different aspect of the movie.

I have loved Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for many years now. It is a movie I never get tired of watching over and over again. I'm surprised that it took me this long to finally purchase the Blu-Ray version of the film. It truly offers a whole new viewing experience so I can love it all over again! I am truly happy with my purchase!

Tim Burton has great storytelling in this movie and the visual of the movie is fantastic.

This is totally different from the original movie. Johnny Depp take a new spin on this remake. I grew up with the original, but would recommend this one to anyone!

Really enjoyed Washington's movie it was a good feature for the entire family to enjoy and got a great deal on it from Best Buy.

While maybe not one of Johnny Depps best this movie is still a good watch you can enjoy with the kids.

My twin girls were reading the book in school and we bought the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Then, we just had to get the newer Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Each movie has its own charm and classic scenes.

A very classic movie my kids loved it ,old and new version like them both.

This is a remake of the original Willy Wonka movie. It's a great movie for children and adults alike. Great musical score by Danny Elfman.

Great Trippy Movie ! You need this in your collection ! Especially with bigger TV screens, you need this Blue Ray title for your collection !

Some things just weren't made to be messed with. At least in this case, but maybe I'm just biased to the original because I remember seeing that as a kid. Anyway my daughter also loves the original and only on rare occasions will watch this version. Didn't enjoy Depp's take on Willy Wonka but I'm sure others love it. Bought it at a decent price can't complain.

Great remake! it is just too bad that Wonka chocolate bars aren't sold in stores. Meijer Grocery and Christmas tree stores were the last. the candy bars are missed!
