Charmed had a lot of promise in its first couple of seasons. A truly unique show produced by 90210's Aaron Spelling. On set problems from Shannon Daugherty, and her subsequent removal from the show, for me, is what ultimately caused my lack of interest in later seasons. It was at such a great price, though, that the whole box set, with all of its extras and a great first couple of seasons, was well worth paying for.

This is genius! If you love the show, this collection has it all. Every single episode, and all neatly inside the Book of Shadows. I wonder how they chose which 'pages' to include, because some seem a bit random, but the quality of the book is wonderful. Great price too, it's sold out most other places.

This show is beautiful. The plot is amazing and the characters keep you on your toes. This purchase was the best I could hope for. I grew up watching this show and now I have all the best extras and episodes whenever I want. Plus it's got actual pages from the book of Shadows in the show so BRILLIANT!

I bought this set for an early Christmas gift . My niece has wanted it for years . I happened to look on Best Buy & the price was better than Walmart . I was so happy about that .. I went ahead & purchased way to go Best Buy !! Thank you !!

The most interesting thing about this is the packaging, beyond that if you're a fan, you know that you're getting the complete Charmed series which is a great show, if you're into girl power and/or fantasy and/or family dramas with an edge. I have to agree with the other reviews; the packaging does leave glue on many of the discs, hence the 4 star instead of 5 star rating. It is a pretty ridiculous oversight by the manufacturer. I, being stubborn, found that it comes off pretty easily if you just clean the discs. After removing any glue residue found, which usually wasn't much, I didn't have any problems with playing any of the discs. The actual book is a bit smaller than I imagined but it fits better on a shelf that way, so it's good. As cool as it would be, a life size book of shadows holding a DVD series is pretty impractical. Bottom line- it's a great set if you don't mind carefully removing a little glue before playing some of the discs.

I was a fan, and always wanted the entire series in one and not have to buy them individually. Plus it comes with a book of spells style disc holder. If your a fan of the show then this is a must have.

I bought this DVD collection for my daughter, who loves charmed,.She loves the description of each demon or villian prior to the series and she loves the write up and spells it talks about. Great buy for your money. If you buy the series seperately you do not get all the bonuses plus the series comes in the Book of Charms, look alike.

Charmed is a very good series. I was glad that I found the complete series at Best Buy. At the time of purchase, the set was on sale; so it made the purchase easily affordable. I would recommend this series if you are interested in mythical creatures, witches, vampires, and other fictional characters.

Loved the Presentation of the series. It comes in a charm Book just like the real one to store the dvds. great to display on table. The book has brief discriptions of the movie throughout it.

hi my husband bought this item and had to return it twice because the dvds were glued in and i have had it for 2 years and they skipped and glue is still on the dvds and they freeze but i dont have the money to replace it because i shouldnt have to and u can only return them so many times i lovethe set but i cant watch them all i wish they would send me a free one but that is not likely gonna happen

I'm a newcomer to Charmed and thought I would buy the box set to get all the episodes at once. I purchased the set at my local store and when I tried to play the first disk it skipped and froze up in my DVD player. I looked over the disk and it had what appeared to be glue or something on it. I inspected the rest of the set and about five disk had the same problem. I took it back to exchange and before leaving the store I checked the disk in the new set and they were in the same shape with glue on some of them. The store did refund my money since there wasn't a suitable replacement. I'm just gonna buy each season individually. In my opinion don't bother with the box set, why take the chance.

the packaging is horrible. i had to return it. the discs all had scratches and glue from the packaging all over it and would start and stop and then go blank. couldn't even make it past disc 1. thankfully they gave me my money back. i mean if you're going to pay almost $200 for something it better be in good shape and it wasn't. trust me, just buy them seperately, don't even waste your money on this product!

THE SHOW ITSELF IS FIVE STARS!! THE DISCS ARE HARD TO GET IN AND OUT OF THE SLEEVES. THEY BECOME SCUFFED WITH FREQUENT USE. THE BOOK OF SHADOWS INCLUDED IS A JOKE. ONLY ONE ADDITIONAL DISC AND IT'S NOT ANYTHING SPECIAL. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. BUY THE INDIVIDUAL SEASONS. YOU'LL BE MUCH HAPPIER.

give a little more of money and get the limited edition pack complete season the disc wont get scratch
