Chasing the dragon is a good movie. Just watched it with my parents. They enjoyed the true story. Donnie Yen’s character is awesome. You watch as he goes from struggling to making it big in the world. Eventhough he goes up he never forgets the people that helped him get there.

I was expecting the fighting scenes to be in kung fu but they are not they were just Street brawls

This Donnie Yen movie displays his acting skills more than his martial arts skills.

Great film, as usual Donnie Yen and Andy Lau were good at portraying their roles. If you are looking for Donnie to rip it up martial arts style per usual then you will be dissapointed. The film plays out as a gangster crime drama, so the fights reflect a more realistic brawler style approach. The audio and video on the disc were great, just wish that Well Go would start releasing 4k UHD Blu-Rays.

This story plots a similar tale of ascending power and fortune inside the drug crime empire. Rising from rags to riches , an unstoppable figure rises to rule all until the price has to be paid. A Chinese style Scarface story.

This latest offering by Donnie Yen grabs at the heart strands of brotherhood, loyalty, and corruption. Supposedly based on true life events, Chasing The Dragon is definitely a worthy entry into the world of Triads and police corruption. Andy Lau is great as usual. Worth a peek.

This is an good movie good acting good writing good directing and all-around enjoyable watch this is when filmmakers get it right they don't do it often but they definitely did it this time

This is a great movie to watch. With all the actions and excellent flow of the story, it's non-stopping excitement for a rich storyline. I will watch it again and again - highly recommended.

Andy Lau and Donnie Yen are the force to be reckoned with, they both learned the back ground for the fact based movie, Cripple Ho was something else
