I've seen about a couple of dozen films this year, and this is my personal favorite. It isn't flashy or showy, but it is warm and fun. It's a movie about family, personal growth, and finding yourself and the journey the main character takes is a lot of fun. One thing, though, this film will make you very, very hungry.

what do you do when you're a top chef in a prestigious restaurant, but feel your creativity is being stifled by the owner? you get fired, of course - and get on the road with a food truck! A great movie about family, friends and the fact that it's never to late to turn a new page and move forward with your life.

If you love food, this movie will make you extremely hungry. While the story is charming and the characters are endearing, I personally can't get over how amazingly delicious every single dish in this film looks. You can watch it right after eating a big meal yet still feel hungry after watching it.

Fantastic cast! Great storyline and message from this movie! Highly recommend!! This was a limited release movie in the theaters, I promise you will not be disappointed!!

This is one of the best food movies in years! It is also really great to see the bond emerge between father and son, and a restaurant chef letting his bad career situation affect his family life turn everything around. Funny, uplifting, and touching, with a fantastic cast to boot!

Chef is an excellent, feel good movie. There's something very understated and real about it, whether you're a foodie, an artist, or not. And the food presented in the film is mouth watering. I can't recommend this movie enough. The bluray quality is excellent.

After a meltdown from a poor review, a prominent chef travels through out the country with friends and family on his way to discover the many different flavors in life. Watch as a father and son bond over food as they relearn what it takes to make great food.

This is easily one of my favorite Culinary movies. It has an excellent cast, it's funny, it's sad, it's a little romantic. . .it has a little of everything that makes a movie great. If you love to cook like I do, you'll love it too. Check it out, it's too good to miss!

I watched this recently on tv. I decided to get this to add to my movie collection. It was actually a good movie.

I saw this movie when it was in the theaters and liked it so much that I could hardly wait til it came out on disc. My one little complaint was that I was hoping for more commentary tracks with maybe other chefs. Sadly there is only one with Favreau and Choi.

This is a classic feel good but rise up and fight for yourself movie. No big budget and just a handful of stars playing small parts. But the plot is real and genuine and very entertaining. Especially nice movie for those who hate your jobs and or bosses.

As a former chef, i can relive the passion I had for food at one time. Favreau captures the love of food, art, creativity beautifully. It really captured my heart from the beginning to end!

What a great film. I don't usually like Mr Favreau as an actor but he was really wonderful in this film. It has a really unique cast. I wouldn't have picked this group to go together. But it really works. SEE THIS MOVIE! You will not regret it.

Chef challenges the too often dry norms of the film industry, leaving the audience with a new taste. Jon Favreau shines the light on a growing trend, the food truck industry. If you are in search of the non-traditional, this is the film for you!

This is food at its best. One of the best movies for cooks or chefs or would-be cooks. Very inspiring and fun to watch. If you've ever had the thought of being a chef or a cook this will turn you into a foodie if you weren't already

Extremely funny, heartwarming story with a hint of morality. It's actually a great lesson on social media usage for kids, if it weren't for the language, which warrants its "R" rating. Jon Favreau created a classic with this all-star cast.

If you like food and you like a story be sure to watch Chef. It is straight forward with great story line. I cant explain it too much but if you want a movie that you can enjoy with friend and family then you will enjoy Chef.

I don't know so much about a product review, but I can say I love the movie. I had watched it numerous times on Netflix, and knew that I would want to watch it more. In fear of it being removed, I opted to buy it from Best Buy.

Jon Favreau turns in an exceptional performance as a chef and handling the pressure of landing in favor of a top L.A. food critic while trying to raise and bond with his young son. Definitely a film you'll return to again and again.
