    >> Summary The Chefman Dual Air Fryer and Oven has effectively replaced my 2-slice toaster, air fryer, dehydrator, and countertop oven. It is very convenient to have a single device that can be used for multiple tasks, it makes it easy to prepare different meals/recipes even when feeling lazy as it can sit on your kitchen countertop all the time (e.g. you avoid going to the storage room and grabbing your air fryer, etc.). As any new cooking device, there is a “get used to its cooking temperatures/times” period where variations of temperatures/times are tried for different meals/recipes. So far, we have done very well preparing our food; nevertheless, we continue adjusting the levels of cooking (temperature/times) to get the perfect outcome. In COVID-19 times, this has been a great addition to our kitchen. Based on our experience so far, this device is closer to a 5-star than to a 4-star rating. We had a small gathering with a couple of friends over the weekend and we have already recommended the device to them! Pros: - Digital controls - Light - Replaces toaster, air fryer, dehydrator and countertop oven - Easy to clean - Dual cooking (two step, e.g. program it to bake and then broil) Cons: - It didn’t come with a recipe book and suggested cooking temperatures/times >> Setup Unpack and read the easy to follow instructions that come in the manual. Basic cleaning is explained, as well as how to operate the device under its different modes. I only wished it had come with a recipe book with cooking times, temperatures, etc. Based on our experience, even with regular ovens, each cooking device is a little different from others, and it takes some trial and error to get the cooking times and temperatures to produce the best result. >> Air Fryer This was the first thing we tried. Sliced potatoes fried almost perfectly the first time (we cut short the cooking time as we saw that the potatoes were basically done). Breaded chicken (with Panko) air fried perfectly, the taste was amazing, incredible how crunchy on the outside and moist in the inside it was. However, at some point we had to stop the cooking and flip the chicken pieces so that both sides would be the same color. The latter means that we need to keep adjusting the proper temperature for the right result. >> Oven We baked small cakes and cheese empanadas. They baked fine. For the cheese empanadas we put it at a little higher temperature than needed and some parts were darker than others, nevertheless, they were delicious. Next batches of empanadas came out almost perfect. >> Dehydrator We sliced some beef, applied some salt, and put it in Dehydrator mode for about 6 hours at 135F. I was delighted to see how the end result came back (you can see the images for a before and after). Result was crunchy and delicious homemade beef jerky. I cannot wait for Morel mushroom season next year to put this Dehydrator mode into action. I am not sure how it will do given the spores that mushrooms exude when being dried, though, I suspect it will just fall to the bottom and it wouldn’t be much of an issue to clean. >> Toaster Ok, perhaps this has been my favorite so far. I can get real toasted bread the way I like. This device gets rid of humidity pretty well when compared to a regular toaster. I have a regular toaster in which the bread slices come out with some levels of humidity that when two or more pieces of toast are placed one of top of each either, water condenses and then you get those shaggy toasts. Not with this oven, I get my toasts as I like, dry and toasty! I’d assume some people like their toasts not so dry, but I got tired of placing my toast on a dish to find out water condensed underneath the toast and unpleasant to eat. Now I have the crunchy toast I always wanted. >> Other notes: - We did not try using the Convection oven functionality (next thing to try soon). - We have not tried cooking big items beyond pizza or cake. It is mentioned that a whole chicken can fit and cook well. If it works well, then I’d say we could talk about using the Chefman instead of the big oven for most tasks in a 3-people household.

Great Air Fryer + Toaster Oven with 9 functions

The Chefman 20-liter Dual Function Air Fryer + Toaster Oven is large enough to toast 4 slices of bread at once, bake a 10-inch pizza or air fry 2 pounds of chicken wings. The oven has an interior light that can be turned on or off using the front touch control panel. The outside dimensions are 14 inches tall, 16 inches wide and about 16 inches deep (including the front handle and bumpers in the back). The inner dimensions are 12 inches wide, 12 inches deep and about 5 inches high (measured from the lower rack position to the top heating elements and 3 inches from the upper rack position to the top heating elements). There are 9 cook functions with dedicated “buttons” on the touch control panel. Bake, Air Fry, Toast, Convection Bake, Slow Cook, Bagel, Broil, Warm and Dehydrate. There are also controls for Temp/Time (press and hold to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit), Temp/Time adjustment arrows, Dual Cook along with “1” and “2” buttons to set first and second functions for Dual Cook, Frozen button for frozen bread or bagels, Oven Light and Start/Stop buttons. The oven includes a pull-out crumb tray, removeable wire rack, broil/bake pan, air fry basket and two dehydrating racks. The wire rack, broil/bake pan and the two dehydrating racks slide into the upper or lower rack positions. The air fry basket must be placed on top of the broil/bake pan or one of the racks. The toaster oven does a great job with toast and bagels. It gets frozen french fries and onion rings hot and crunchy with the Air Fry function, cooking faster than a regular oven. I tried the Dehydrate function with a banana and it did a great job. We have a dedicated dehydrator and a dedicated Air Fryer but it is convenient having those functions included in this oven. Looks great, works great, easy to clean and incredibly quiet. We needed to replace a much larger toaster oven and I was not sure about switching to a smaller oven. It is nice having more counter space again. No regrets, we are pleased with this oven.

This review is for the Chefman Dual Function Air Fryer + Oven Model RJ50-SS-T. This is a large 20 liter counter top device that will hold a 10 inch pizza or 4 slices of bread. While its capacity is large, the overall footprint on your counter is not bad. It can conceivably replace your toaster, your toaster oven, and your air fryer. That’s a plus. First out of the box you are greeted with multiple racks and baskets for various cooking options. There are also 2 peel off stickers. One on the door with the corner labeled to “peel here” is self explanatory. However there is a black label over the control panel that looks to be the control panel itself. It can be confusing to some as it only shows a limited number of controls. Only after being brave to get a fingernail under an edge and peel it off , are you greeted with the real control panel showing no less than 15 touch panel selections and a digital display! (see my pictures) This could be a deal breaker in a store with this oven on display as it doesn’t begin to demonstrate the possibilities. It can also be frustrating to someone who doesn’t figure out that the label comes off! The digital touch controls are great! Easy to touch, easy to pick your intended function, and easy to set the temperature and the cooking time. You can also set a cooking function, temperature and time for the first stage of cooking, then set a following function like broiling to run for an additional time. This adds a real versatility if you would like to bake and then brown the top for a couple of minutes. PROS: Good selection of 2 racks for dehydrating foods, a wire rack for baking, a wire basket for air frying, a broil / bake pan, and a pull out crumb tray. The unit’s fan is quiet as an air fryer and as a convection oven. The oven light is bright and is controlled by a touch button on the top panel. The door has a glass panel to view what's cooking. The door is solid and has a nice cool to the touch handle. When the door is opened, the oven pauses its function until the door is closed. The crumb tray pulls out at the bottom for easy cleaning. The cabinet gets warm after use and will get very warm after prolonged use. Hot air is pushed out the back of the unit towards the wall. The stainless steel front and sides look great. COOKING: As an oven and air fryer it works very well. I have used smaller countertop air fryers and they work very well, but are limited to how much food you can put in them. This unit’s capacity is impressive and it seems to air fry almost as good as the smaller models. As an oven, it bakes well and there are two positions for the wire shelf. I have not had the opportunity to use the dehydrate or slow cooker function. This model has a powerful 1800 watt heater to power that additional space. CONS: Instruction book is basic. It talks about the various functions, but no recipes or examples for various foods. The Broil / Bake pan and the Crumb Tray need a better non stick coating. After 5 uses, I already have stains on both that will not come off with hot water and soap as recommended in the instructions. This is disappointing. (see picture) They should be porcelain or Teflon coated for easier clean up. I would recommend this oven. Features and controls are wonderful. Size is good. However I am deducting a star for the mediocre drip and crumb trays that could be much better.

In the short time that we have owned it, we have forgotten that we even own a stove/oven. Visually it is beautiful. I am so happy that it is completely digital. The touch screen is great. Theres no buttons or knobs to clean, and it operates with the slightest touch. The features offer everything you need and more to cook some of the best meals. Because your food is getting evenly cooked, it is hands down the best air-fryer and oven we have ever come across or have used. My mom gifted us the "older round style" air fryers years ago and I kid you not, we used it once and said never again. It took up so much space, and could only cook 4 wings at a time, and the smallest amount of fries. We had to remember to go flip it just so both sides could cook. It was a nightmare, and the longest I've ever had to wait for a whole family meal to be ready. Inconvenient no more! THIS THING ROCKS! It can hold your entire fridge, in comparison. The different baskets, and trays cook everything to perfection. I have never seen and or tasted bacon so good. It may sound dramatic, but I'm serious. This purchase is seriously worth it. There is no need to even look beyond this model. Honestly, I'm beyond impressed, so much so, I have no downsides to report. Look, I wasn't the only one with excitement and nothing but amazing things to say about this machine, so I asked my husband to share his thoughts below... This thing is AWESOME!!!! Where do I start? It’s quick, it’s easy to use, and it’s actually hard to burn anything!!! My maiden voyage for the air fryer was a frozen pizza, with some added toppings. I placed it on the rack without a pan, set it to convection and boom, perfectly cooked frozen pizza! It didn’t burn the additional toppings which I can truly appreciate. The crust was crisp on the outside but soft inside, it couldn’t have been better! Next up, I cooked Chicken tenders and shoestring fries. This time I set it to air fry. I actually didn’t adjust the default temp or time (400 degrees at 10 minutes).....perfection yet again. The fries were crispy outside and pillowy potatoness inside. The tenders were nice and crisp as they were just fried, and the chicken was tender and juicy. I cannot be happier using this machine!!! And as far as cleanup, it’s so simple and easy, no one would/should ever complain about it. I know I didn’t.

It didn’t come with a crumb tray, the only thing that is needed to run it. We reached out to Chefman 3 weeks ago to get a crumb tray and they said they were working on it but their customer service is awful. We just got a message today saying they have done nothing to get us the crumb tray. Just been taking up a good amount of our counter space for a few weeks. We bought it on Black Friday.

This Chefman Dual Cook is great, I have an air fryer currently but was eyeing one of these larger counter top appliances for when I got to make my boys a snack, typically one would want corn dogs, while the other wants pizza bites or fries. The size of this appliance is large enough to heat up multiple items all at once, instead of having to heat up one thing at a time in my previous air fryer since the basket wasn't as large. This appliance is called dual cook, but I feel the name should be slightly different. This appliance can Bake, Conv. Bake, Broil, Air Fry, Slow Cook, Warm, Toast, Bagel and Dehydrate. At this point I have used Bake, Air Fry and Bagel, which all have been great, I like the assortment of baskets and trays that come packaged in the box, there is also a crumb tray that you can remove at the bottom for easy cleaning. The Touch screen is pretty awesome, when you select an option you can either switch between time and temp, or select the toasted level you like for things such as bagel or toast. I really need to try out the dehydrate option soon, curious how well this will work to make jerky! Overall I am very happy with this appliance, almost wish I would have committed to a larger device such as this before, but the main option before were dials, I really like the touch screen as it gives a modern feel. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to buy an air fryer alone just because of the options this offers!

Great Small Air Fryer & Oven

The Chefman Chef IQ Dual Cook Air Fryer Toaster Oven (try saying that 3 times fast) offers the capabilities of air frying and baking in a compact solution. This oven has a modern look with touch sensitive buttons and a small screen with relatively large font displaying the time left for baking and the current temperature. It features convection baking, regular baking, toasting, broiling, dehydrating, and air frying. The best feature to me though was its dual cooking ability to begin with one setting and finish off with another. Even though this oven would not replace your current solution for baking cakes or large amounts of food, it is perfect for those that cook smaller quantities or portions. Something I did notice while using the oven was that the metal frame surrounding the oven would get warm to the touch. On the top portion of the oven there is a symbol to warn during operation that it would become hot as well. I've seen this with many other ovens as well and hoped this would not be the case with this one. Be careful when touching the top or sides accidentally and wait until it gets cold to unplug and clean after each use. Also, the oven's dimensions are tall and a bit wide. If going to place on a counter under cabinets, make sure to check the specifications for the measurements of the small oven and compare with your available counter space. Another thing to note was food bakes or cooks quicker in this oven with no preheat time. Pizzas, fries, and other foods took a few minutes less to finish and came out looking great (as long as you remember to be watching it cook/bake and adjust the time!). I used the "convection bake" option at 425° and my favorite frozen pizza's baking time was reduced by 2 minutes from the usual recommended time of 12 minutes. While baking, the pizza became fluffy and was toasted to perfection. It cooked quicker and had better texture than cooking it in my gas range oven, which can often leave the crust too crunchy and the cheese burnt. I used the "dual cook" option to cook breaded catfish fillets. I love this option because you're able to control how well the food is cooked and the texture you want. First, I pressed "dual cook" which gave have option 1, which I chose "bake" at 425° for 20 minutes, and then for option 2, I chose "air fry" at 400° for 7 minutes.  The recommended baking time for the fish was 30 minutes, but I adjusted the times due to its previous performance and because when using an air fryer, in my experience, I've always had to reduce the cooking times. The oven went from options 1 to 2 seamlessly and the catfish turned out well cooked with a good amount of crunch, as I like my fried fish to have. I did turn it around once during the baking time just to make sure both sides cooked well. The Chefman Chef IQ is a great dual oven for those looking to begin their air fryer journey and not compromise the ability to bake as well. I love this option because I can cook my food thoroughly and finish it off with a bit of texture by air frying it for only a few minutes. The no-preheat advantage of this oven and its quickness is what won me over though. This oven takes away long cooking times and brings satisfaction to anyone despite whether they enjoy cooking or not. Let the Chefman Chef IQ Dual Cook Air Fryer Toaster Oven change your cooking life like it has changed mine.

Does almost everything a regular oven can

It's a toaster oven that thinks its a regular oven. I've been using this for a week now and use it more than any other kitchen appliance I have with lots of positives and almost no negatives at all. So far I've used every function except the dehydration feature and they've all exceeded my expectations. Air fryer works great for fries and pretty much any frozen food and helps cook all the way through. Using the bake function and the space you have inside I was able to bake a small cake too. The touchscreen controls work perfectly and offer a lot of options while still being simple to understand and use. It displays a timer for all functions, including toasting, which is really nice. I love seeing how much time it's going to take to toast something. And the "shade" selection is a nice touch too. First thing I noticed though versus my previous toaster ovens is that this one cooks both quickly and evenly. This oven has 4 heating elements on top plus 2 on the bottom, and it circulates the heat better than any small oven I've owned before. If you use a piece of foil you'll actually see and hear it moving in circulation. The dual function is great for me too since I like to heat up my food while working and don't always get up right when the food is done. Often this meant my food cooling down, but with the dual function, I can just set the cook timer and then set it to keep it warm once the cooking is done! No more cold food because my work meeting took an extra 10 minutes! And if you're someone like me who likes to check on your food often, as soon as you open the door the timer and heating stops, then starts back up after you close the door. It even has a light inside that I irrationally love and am constantly turning on. If there's one negative I have, it's that when you set something to bake, it just starts the timer right away without pre-heating at all. This oven definitely heats up a lot faster than most though so it's probably something I need to get used to, but it makes determining cook times a little more tricky as you're learning it. Overall I would definitely recommend this and would get it again if I needed to.

Impressive multi function toaster /convection oven

This is not just a toaster oven it is truly a multi-function oven. It does a lot of things and does them well. Bake, Convection Bake, Broil, Air Fry, Slow Cook, Warm, Dehydrate, and of course, Toast with a separate Bagel setting. Plus, it can Dual Cook where you start it cooking one way for x amount of minutes and then cook another way or go to a warm cycle for x amount of minutes. Usually, appliances are a jack of all trades and a master of none. But in this case, this 20-Liter multi oven does everything it is set up to do and does them well. The only thing I found that you have to do while getting used to how to use it is that it has a tendency to cook things faster than most recipes recommend for cook time. Dehydrating fruit: did a great job with two dehydration racks – suggested time was 5hrs – got it done in 4 hours. I air-fried a bunch of wings and they turned out yummy and crispy, Plus they were moist inside. Slow-cooked a pot-roast, convection baked some pizza rolls, bake some rolls, broiled a steak, took a pizza and convection backed it then had it finish it off by broiling the top for a little extra crispy toppings. It toasts perfect and does those bagels just right. Full digital cooking panel that turns itself off. Has a user-controlled light, When you open the door, it stops what it is doing and resumes when you shut it. Amazingly it does a lot of different things and does them well. I used this for a week now, and I am still finding stuff to cook in it in a creative, convenient, yummy way. And it has easy clean up when you are done.

If you want the "swiss army knife" of toaster ovens, look no further than the Chefman Chef IQ 20-Liter Dual Cook Air Fryer Toaster Oven. The amount of modes this oven will cook in is nothing short of impressive! I love that all the controls on this over are accessed on a touch screen. No knobs for temperature or timer adjustment! One main thing that attracts me to this device is the fact that it can air fry! I love air frying foods like chicken wings! It is a healthier alternative to traditional frying methods and it crisps your food perfectly! The baking settings are also pretty amazing. You can bake in a traditional convection oven mode, or you can bake with the air fryer fan activated to circulate the hot air while baking. The toaster also has a traditional "toasting" mode which allows you to select how light or dark you want the item you are toasting. The "warm" mode is great too! We heated leftover pizza and it tasted just like it did from the pizza restaurant! We will never microwave leftover pizza again! It also functions as a slow cooker and a food dehydrator. Another thing really worth mentioning is the "dual cook" mode. You can start cooking a food in one mode, and when that mode is finished it will cook in another mode. So you can bake something and turn right around and air fry it! The oven comes with multiple racks and trays to assist you in your cooking adventures as well. This oven is very quiet on air fryer mode. That isn't always the case with an air fryer so it is nice to be able to have a conversation while in your kitchen using the air fryer. Clean up is really not all that bad. You can just wipe out the inside of the oven after it cools. Not all included trays are dishwasher safe, so there is some manual scrubbing that is needed when using a few of them. Using the included drip tray helps a lot so the bottom of the oven doesn't get nasty while cooking. We wrap ours in aluminum foil to make clean up even easier. There is also a removable tray in the bottom of the oven for crumbs or drips. You just slide it right out of the front. I love that this oven has a glass front you can see through while cooking. I have owned several other air fryers where the lid had to be lifted or basket had to be pulled out just to see what food is cooking. The only con that I can come up with at this point is that the toaster oven, like many other toaster ovens, is large! Keep in mind that if your going to get this you will need a fair amount of real estate on your counters to store it! That being said, this thing works well, and I have enjoyed having it. It is so nice to have a small toaster oven instead of heating up the large oven in our kitchen. The convenience is worth it!

I have had this for 2 years now and it is an essential part in my cooking. I cook most of my family’s meal and let tell you making salsas have never been easier or healthier. The same goes for when my kids want to reheat some fast food or some frozen item. I have made 2 dozen muffins. I have made 2 cheesecakes in this mini oven. I toast bread for sandwiches both at normal temperature and frozen. The best thing in my opinion is that this air fryer slash oven cools down the food for you, yes it does take about one to three minutes however it is well worth it in my opinion and even if you do not want that you can just open the door when it’s done and your food will be hot, very hot. I personally just let it cool down every time since I do not want to burn my mouth. In my opinion this the best kitchen gadget I have.

I love a good convection toaster oven. Toast, pizza, hot dogs, frozen tater tots....basically anything that fits that I don’t want to warm up the oven for. I was in the market for a new toaster oven and this Chefman caught my attention. First of all it looks great. Excellent build quality and looks high end. Secondly, I was intrigued by the air fry feature. I use a separate air fryer now that I love, but it’s something I have to haul out and clean every time I use it. The Chefman did not disappoint! Looks great on my counter and I love how it cooks! The digital display is easy to use and I find that I prefer it to the dial style on my past toaster ovens. I’m not sure why all the lights stay on when I’m done cooking. Minor annoyance. I LOVE the light feature. I’ve never had that feature on a toaster oven and I can’t believe I ever lived without it. No more opening the door to check on how my stuff is cooking! I air fried some French fries and they definitely came out crispy! What I loved is that cooking in the basket meant that the fries were evenly cooked - not burnt on the top and stuck to the pan like would happen in my oven. Overall I’m very pleased and would recommend to friends and family.

I love the keypad, it cooks wonderful, i dont use the light except to peep in so its still holding up. Its a bit difficult to clean the glass once grease leaks in. Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase

I got this airfryer/mini oven for $30 with my rewards points and it’s the best thing I’ve gotten with them!! I use it everyday instead of a microwave. Regular air-fryers are lined with cancer causing Teflon- I’m sure this one has other cancer causing things- but it’s not Teflon! Such a great purchase- I just wish BestBuy and other retailers wouldn’t play with the prices so much, I think it cost $180 or $150 but you really shouldn’t be paying more-even though it’s worth it- don’t.

It air fries, bakes, broils, toast, etc. Quite well. However, it does seem a bit glitchy sometimes. I know this sounds odd but sometimes it's tough to tell if It's cooking or not because it is so quiet and there is not really an indicator showing that it is in use. Otherwise it does a great job and would buy again

Awesome. I cooked steaks, fried chicken breasts, fried salmon patties. I also 'fried' frozen burgers, and those little frozen tempura battered fish 'nuggets' and I roasted cauliflower. Everything turned out great. The only complaints: 1) Wire trays can be hard to clean even though I'm misting / spraying them beforehand. 2) It's HUGE - takes up a ton of counter space and can't be mounted because of exhaust vents 3) On a person note, I hate that I can't fry cabbage in this particular style of air fryer. UPDATE - had to return because after less than 4 weeks of use it started to get extremely loud and the fan would cut on for no reason. If it wasn't so large, or if it was mountable ... honestly, I probably would have purchased another one - because there's a chance I just got a lemon the first time around. FYI - I wound up purchasing a mountable microwave / convection oven and I hate it. It does not crisp well. The 'air fryer' options are all pre-sets and perform poorly. It's a simply a glorified microwave.
