Poor Customer Support
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unit stopped working after 9 months. Was under warranty. Contacted company, they asked for photos and sales receipt. I provided them both, and they did absolutely nothing. The same unit I bought for $99 they are now charging $200. For $200 there are much better options. If you do not care about a company that does not back their products, if you do not care about spending $200 on a product that might break after 9 months- then this is the perfect product for you.

Would not recommend
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Right form the start I noticed that when using bake I needed to turn the temp down about 25-50 degrees and shorten the time. I have burnt so many pizzas following the directions! Then after about 4-5 months of using there was a very chemical smell that we could taste in the food. On the positive side the air fry function does a nice job.

My Most Used Kitchen Appliance
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. How much can you really enjoy using a kitchen small appliance? Well it turns out - quite a bit. When I received this Chefman Chef IQ air fryer / toaster oven combo, I already owned an air fryer that I used a fair amount. But that air fryer was a smaller “basket” model with simple time and temp settings. So I knew I would use the Chefman Chef IQ, but I didn’t expect this to become my go-to cooking appliance. Starting off, I really like the simple design and aesthetic appeal. It has the appearance of an older school, simple form factor, combined with a modern interface. It just looks nice sitting on my countertop. I appreciate the touch panel lighting which changes your selected input from pale white to an almost neon blue. The selected temp and time are largely displayed in the center, with the variants such as cooking modes displayed to the side. The touchpad is responsive to light touch and quite easy to use. Setup is a breeze. Remove all packaging, wipe the inside of the fryer with a damp cloth, and wash the included accessories. Allow to dry and you are ready to begin. Obviously plug the Chefmate Chef IQ into an outlet for power, place the included drip tray on the bottom rack, then choose which cooking surface you will need. I appreciate the multiple cooking surfaces that were included in the box. There is a solid flat tray, wire mesh flat tray, and wire mesh basket. You can cook quite a large quantity of food in this appliance. Most of which can be cooked simultaneously thanks to the dual rack and dual cooking option. Let me tell you, I use this air fryer / toaster oven in some form for almost every meal. There are cooking modes for air frying, air baking, broiling, toasting, warming. I mean seriously, this appliance does quite a bit. You can set a dual cooking option where the Chefman Chef IQ will automatically convert from one setting to the next. For instance, when I make garlic bread I program the Chef IQ to air bake at 375 for 5 minutes, then automatically convert to broil for 60 seconds. I don’t have to do a thing between cycles. There are so many options and it is truly time-saving. Again, you can cook so much food in this thing. Oh, and this thing is incredibly quiet. My previous air fryer, which was almost 1/4 the size of the Chefman Chef IQ, was much louder. I really expected this appliance to be loud, but I was pleasantly surprised at just how little noise is put out during the cooking process. The drip tray and included cooking trays are easy to clean, easy to install, and easy to remove. The front facing drop down door fully opens to allow for easy access. I will say the tempered glass does get rather warm, so I would keep small children away and use caution. Nothing fire hot, but definitely warm enough to exercise caution. The body itself though seems to not heat up much at all. I am incredibly happy with my Chefman Chef IQ. Other than my refrigerator, this is my most used kitchen appliance by far. Ive prepared everything from bagels, waffles, meatballs, sausages, hot dogs, tots, fried pickles, and so much more. I would highly recommend this to my friends, family, and co-workers.

No support for faulty unit!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purched this last year. Was pretty excited to buy this because of all of the features. After a couple months we started having issues. It sometimes will not shut off. We have to unplug it. The beeper will continue to beep after end of cook time( it would go all night if we let it)The control panel randomly stops working. I have submitted help tickets and have gotten no response from support/warranty. Seeing this on sale again and all the similar reviews, thought I would mention buyer beware!

Quality product that replaces many appliances
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Chefman 4 slice toaster oven is a great little oven for small spaces that can replace a variety of items in your kitchen. Personally, my family has a few different counter top items and some of them are 2 or 3 in 1 type appliances. But none of them have as many options as this toaster oven. The Chefman has the ability to air fry, broil, bake, roast, toast and it has a convection option. So far we have roasted a small chicken, air fried a ton of stuff, made toast, and baked cookies. The features that impress me the most are: Digital Touch controls: The controls are SUPER user friendly. Just touch what you want and it works. No guessing, no mistakes, no problems. It is simplified, but the appearance is very attractive and convenient. Cleaning: It is easy to clean. They say everything is dish washer safe, but if you have burnt on cheese or thick grease on a tray you are not just going to out it in the dishwasher. However, the cleaning is really easy regardless because most of the parts are non-stick. Large opening: The capacity of this counter top oven was much greater than I expected it to be. You can fit a full size frozen pizza in the oven, a smaller sized funk chicken or anything smaller than that. They say you can feed a family? Maybe, but only if some want to wait while you are making a second and third batch for others wanting to eat. Features that don’t thrill me: Size: The front to back and side to side measurements are on par with every other counter top oven I saw in the store. But this one is taller than most others. Not a deal breaker, but if you are tight on space take your measurements. That is it. That was my only gripe with this one. Which again is not a concern for me, but may be for some. When you compare it to how my oven works, it is really just the same thing. So why do you need one when you have an oven? Who wants to heat up the oven for a dozen chicken nuggets? We use it for quick things, when we need to make smaller meals or sides for meals. You are not going to cook thanksgiving out of this thing! But the both alliances have their place. Now this Chefman has a place on my counter. I recommend it to anyone really. Everyone will have some use for it, whether that be the person that lives alone and is cooking their dinner, or the family that using it for small to medium. Everyone will find a use for it, and you will be happy if you give it a try. I am glad we did.

Nice counter top oven
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would call this a toaster oven but its a bit chonky for that I think. That is of course because of the air fryer/convection oven capabilities of it and the fact that it is about as large of a toaster oven as you can find. I got this to upgrade a cuisineart 4-slice toaster and a older smaller air fryer that I have. So while it is massive I still ended up saving a little counter top space by consolidating multiple appliances into one. Overall its fairly attractive other than it being a giant stainless steel box. The display is clean and crisp which lends to the aesthetic. So far everything I have cooked in it has cooked much quicker than the previous equipment. It has a lot more function as an actual oven than my previous toaster which I have found more useful than I originally thought. The fan in the top for the air fryer/convection bake is super quiet which is nice, so don't worry about it sounding like a jet. Heat seems pretty evenly distributed in there haven't had any issues with only cooking half of something because of where it was on the grate. It came with 2 dehydrating baskets, an air fry basket, a bake pan, and a normal grate for toasting or baking. It also has a light in the oven which at first I didn't think would be useful but I use it all the time. Only real gripe about this is it doesn't have a clock and there is no way to turn off the display when you are done. The display will automatically turn off after some amount of time, but an on/off button seems like it would have been a reasonable solution. Also with how big the display is and the fact that I would think most people would keep this out on the counter instead of storing it somewhere in between every use it would be great if it had a clock. If you have the counter top space (or are looking to consolidate multiple appliances you already have) and love to cook a lot of toast or whatever else at one time you really cant go wrong with this bad boy it'll definitely take some of the load off the normal oven in your home.

More a comment on Best Buy's reviews
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product is fine for now and should rate more stars. However, because of Best Buy's obnoxious policy of not allowing updated reviews, for example, if a product only lasts 45 days, I feel I'd be doing you a disservice to give this a higher rating at this time. If it does last I'll come back and change it. Oh my bad I forget that Best Buy doesn't allow updates in either direction. Good luck trusting these reviews.

Buyer Beware
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this product to replace my old oven after 5 years. I was so excited about the purchase. It has a bad odor like burning rubber when first purchased and the smell did not go away for months. After a while, the toaster oven stops working in less than a year.

Anyone can cook?
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think many people are familiar with the phrase, "Anyone can cook." However, it doesn't mean everyone should cook... But this product sure does make me think I can. I consider myself a novice to intermediate cook (more like a food prep person than cook), and I've had a limited experience with air fryers in my own personal experience. Before I got myself one and tried it out, I was pretty skeptical thought it was just a "fad" that people were bragging about and used to prepare food in a healthier way. Since I have had an air fryer, I will say that I have made some of the best tasting fries, (in any form), veggies, chicken poppers, and more that I've ever had in my life, and I became an instant believer. For a while I was contemplating taking the next step and trying out an air fryer toaster oven, so then I could conveniently make and cook other things. This particular product will likely replace my other air fryer completely because it can do absolutely everything I would want it for! It can bake, broil, toast, and heat up food, all exceptionally well. In addition to the food I've mentioned before, which I've also made using this product, I've also made nachos, pre-cooked meatballs, toasted sandwiches, chicken wings, fried okra, and small frozen mini pizzas so far, and they've all come out amazing. On top of the great food that can be made with this, it is very easy to use, to clean, and it looks great and doesn't take up a lot of room on a counter, though that would be subjective to some. So, while I don't think everyone should cook, I think this product might make believers out of non-believers pretty easily. This product is making me think I can get rid of my toaster and other air fryer, but I suppose the reason to keep them right now would only be making multiple things at the same exact time. It is pretty tempting to just get another one of these, though, and solve that problem. Great product, Chefman!
