    I love this hair straightener. It gets nice and hot and straightens my hair easily and quickly. I have coarse, kind of curly, very frizzy hair and this tames it to a nice, lovely straight. The thermal mat it comes with is nice and handy as well. I have also bought this CHI straightener for a friend with very thick, coarse hair and it performs wonderfully on her hair as well.

    I went back and forth with alot of the chi straighteners & ultimately decided on this one because it was bigger! Works really well on long thick hair. I love it!

    I've purchased cost efficient flat irons in the past, but this is an investment worth every penny. It is easy for me to straighten my hair and I appreciate the automatic shutoff function. I didn't realize that the product also has a cloth to protect the surface from the heat. The only drawback for me is the manual heating setting knob.
