It Cools but not like a name brand AC

Turned to the highest setting, it barely keeps my bedroom cool. Have to leave it on 24/7 to do the job. The compressor seems to never turn off. If it does, I can not hear it. No Function Lights, only knobs that turn. Should have spent a few more bucks!! Did not read Reviews.
