I remember when this movie came out how Chucky looked like a My Buddy doll from the 80's. My brother had a My Buddy doll, so this movie was pretty scary then. I think for its time, the special effects are really good and it's just plain creepy!

Chucky is still great after all these years, and the franchise is still going strong. Fans would want to go out and pick up this new release. Which amongst other new special features, boasts and excellent new commentary from Tom Holland.

This movie seems a bit tame by today's horror movie standards but it is still a must watch for any horror movie fan. The steelbook art is a reuse of the special slipcover art released previously but it really pops on the metal.

Best scary movie that was ever made, a killer doll, with the mentality of a psychopath?! Yes please. This still freaks me out, even though they're in their 6th or 7th film it's still slightly disturbing! And the collector edition slip is spectacular!

Scream Factory does a great job with their releases. This all-new 2K scan of Child's Play looks great and is the best release of the film so far. There are several hours of bonus features and the artwork is awesome. Highly recommended.

This is a good transfer of the original child’s play on Blu-ray. Has special features as well. You can see the original theatrical trailer and has a few Easter eggs hidden in the menu. Good buy

If you are a die hard fan of Chucky you absolutely need this Blu-ray set in your life. Not only does it have a remastered transfer, but it has hours of bonus features. There is no reason for you NOT to have this.

I already own the set but had to have this great Scream Factory CE, It's a 2 disc set with a 2k scan & a ton of special features, great job Scream Factory, i hope they put out more Child's Play CE, like 2 & Bride of Chucky

Coming out in 1988, Chucky made his debut in "Child's Play", an effective horror film that actually managed to make a living doll scary. Catherine Hicks and Chris Sarandon are fantastic as the film's two leads and Alex Vincent is a great child actor as Andy, the kid that Chucky terrorizes throughout the film.

The evil doll that started it all with a followup of sequels, none of which are as good as this original! The steelbook is an excellent homage to Chucky with a great Halloween themed cover. Back artwork is plain color. Wish they would have done something else with it. All in all, its a great release for a

Charles Lee Ray wasn’t always a demented doll fueled by voodoo. This is the best in a rocky franchise. Played a bit more serious than the rest, but has room for chuckles here and there. A classic.

You all know Chucky, and this is where it all began. Packed to the brim with great new features and a nice, if not a bit dark, new transfer. Chucky has never been better.

Chucky, the killer doll, controlled by the spirit of a homicidal killer, is back in 4k! In all it's glory! Great conversion and looks greater than what I remembered!

I enjoyed watching this movie when I was growing up, and now I can enjoy this movie with my children as they grow up. I love the fact that I was about to find Child's Play on Bluray.

Chucky is my favorite creepy doll character. He’s so evil but that’s what makes this movie so great. One of the best movies made.

It is just an old movie to tease our grandson with. Nothing special. Not a whole lot I can say about an old movie. I don't understand why I need to write 50 characters over a stupid old movie.

This now 30 year old classic is still a fun watch around the Halloween holiday. An obvious homage to the 1963 Twilight Zone classic "Living Doll" - Talky Tina. A possible corny idea for a full movie actually turns in the goods as something fairly descent here.
