    Not a reboot but rather a “reunion” movie that includes some of the original cast reunited for another caper. The story is similar to the pilot episode where a gang of car thieves are stealing cars and trying to get them out of town before Ponch, and a promoted Officer Baker ( absent frim final season) catch them. This is a Warner Bros. Archive title which also means it was duplicated on Demand. Quality is SD but very watchable.

    This is a great reunion movie from a great TV show. Great job bringing the original characters back.

    It was so good to see Larry Wilcox come back for the Reunion. Reminds me of class reunions. The Morals and caring for one another comes through in the many actions. Reminding us of the one who would put their lives on the line to help when they see someone in trouble. The day when we rewarded people for trying to help. Love this .

    I have been a CHiPs lover since 1977. I like this movie very much. Brings back memories just like John, Ponch and Catrear.

    most of the original characters are back here in this 1999 made for tv movie. missing alot of that old action. would have to be a true fan of the series to really enjoy.
