    Another must see Wayne western. The story attempts to portray Billy the Kid in a favorable light but is still entertaining to watch. All of the supporting cast make the movie work.

    The open land and the vastness of this film is what inspires the most. Again the story takes place during a time in our history that expands over years of hardship, drought, and constant battles to keep every inch of John Chisum's world.

    John Wayne is such a classic and this film didn't let me down. The transfer to bluray looks great for how old this movie is. The sound is also an improvement over the DVD as well. If you are Western fan and John Wayne this is a most own for your collection.

    Any John Wayne movie is good. Chisum is one of the Great Ones. The story of REAL America.

    I have been slowly converting my John Wayne dvd collection to blu ray. I was glad when they released Chisum. It played great and looked great.
