one of John carpenter's best, tons of suspense in this film incredible performance by Actor Keith Gordon who's extremely possessed and totally in love with Christine and will do anything to make her Happy For those fans out there that couldn't afford to buy the stupid Limited edition blu-ray by Twilight time that has sold out over a year ago because the twilight time version can only be bought from $50 and up well time to move on Sony pictures U.S. has finally released the old classic Christine on blu-ray for the first time ever and it's been a long time coming aswell, it's been about 12 years since the old dvd release and finally it's here a brand new HD transfer of the film in 2:35:1 ratio from the U.S. branch of Sony pictures the picture quality does look beautiful actually much better than the old dvd version plus the sound quality has been boosted with a new 5.1 mix which sounds really Good and Sony have also carried over all the special features from the old dvd version all the featurettes, Deleted scenes and Commentary tracks have been carried over so no need to try buy the German or U.K. blu-ray versions of Christine Sony U.S. have finally done it and made a big effort with the picture quality & the sound time to upgrade now get this new blu-ray of the film, by the way it's ABC regions 5 stars for the film, 5 stars for this new blu-ray by Sony U.S.

John Carpenter is truly a master of the genre and I’ve lived in his butt crease for 40 years so I should know of his mastery.

John Carpenter is an icon of horror and his adaptation of this Stephen King novel is just another high point in his resume.

One of John Carpenter's great underrated films. To start, the steelbook packaging is great. Wonderful colors on the cover that really highlight the old Plymouth, Christine. The film presented in 4K is well done. Black levels are very deep and rich. Colors are great, too; particularly the Plymouth, Christine. The red of the car stands out so well in stunning 4K. There is little to no grain throughout the film, so the restoration and upscale was done well. The sound is OK, and it is not much different from the original Blu-ray release. Do not expect a better sound with this specific release, only visuals here. Overall, if you are looking for another Carpenter classic in 4k, this is a great release to pick up. If you can get the exclusive steel book-- even better.

One of my all-time favorites and still absolutely terrifying after all these years. Great to find it on blu ray finally!

A must watch vintage movie from the 80’s. The Remaster in 4K ultra HD makes it appear as a movie that came out this year.

Video quality is incredibly colorful, detailed, very realistic and lifelike. Sony consistently has some of the best 4k transfers I've seen and this one does not disappoint. Audio is clean and clear with all dialogue, effects and the amazing soundtrack coming through perfectly. I've really come to appreciate Christine's soundtrack of classic rock music and its' faithfully delivered here. All special features such as film commentary and 25 minutes of deleted scenes are contained on the included Blu-ray version. I'm always impressed whenever they can take an older movie and make it look so lifelike and Sony definitely did that here. Christine is one of the better Stephen King adaptations and also one of John Carpenter's best so I'm glad to see it get a 4K release. The added depth and detail and color make it all the more enjoyable. I am definitely pleased to add the new 4K version to my collection and recommend it to all fans

Classic movie is an understatement, the Blu-ray formatting is nice and clear, the steelbook adds the cherry on the top.

Love the update and restoration not this classic. Still ana amazing movie and the outer packaging make it even better.

The only way to get this on 4K at a good price was to get the same steel book that you get with blue ray.
