Loved this beautiful move. One of my Christmas favorites.

Barbara Stanwyck shines as a Martha Stewart-type magazine columnist who gets in over her head when she agrees to cook Christmas dinner at her Connecticut farm, where she lives with her husband and baby, for her boss and a returning war hero in order to save her job. Just one problem: She can't cook. Also: There's no hubby or baby either. This romantic comedy works all year long.

This has always been one of my top Christmas movies of all time since I was a young girl. Granted I'm 35 now and it was filmed before in was born there is something so beautiful in the story line and Barbara Stanwyck's character reminds me so much of myself. The costumes are great, the acting is superb and the DVD quality is wonderful!

Acting was routinely good years back and stories had plots. Even a comedy such as this holds up after decades gone by. This is a fun movie...one of those with entertaining mix ups that occur even though intentions are good. Saucy for its day, it is good family fun now. Worth having in a movie library.

Classic heart warming Christmas classic that simply makes you feel good. Outstanding actors as well as supporting actors. Excellent plot and story line True Christmas classic I believe it deserves more credit!

This movie is a classic - Barbara Stanwyck is wonderful in the role of a columnist pretending to be a perfect housewife to Dennis Morgan's war hero who is a big fan of hers. Everything is not as it seems though. Funny, sweet and a bit predictable laughter and love ensue.

One of my wife's favorite movies. Was not able to find it in any local stores. It was a couple days late being delivered, but still got it in time to watch before Christmas.

First let me say that this is a good little movie--typical of the era with a cute plot and a good cast. But I suspect they put the word "Christmas" in the title to try and make it a Christmas movie, because there is nothing about the spirit of Christmas or the Christmas season in this movie. It is quite enjoyable, nevertheless, and I'm sure I'll watch it this Christmas.

A must have movie for our family. Wifey loved that it came as a Christmas gift. Great movie for all ages!

I love this movie and I had been searching for a copy on blu-ray after reading such good reviews about the quality. I found this movie at Best Buy at a price much lower (by $10) than I had found anywhere; including Amazon.

If you love old movies, which I do, you will love this one. It has humor, romance and just plain fun with no offensive language or scenes. The whole family can watch this and feel good.

this is another one of those Christmas movies we like to watch on the Christmas holidays along with the others , they don't make them like this anymore.

I got my DVD as promised, on schedule. I haven't played it yet so I don't know if it works properly.

To be honest I haven't seen the movie yet, but I love old Christmas movies with all the nostalgia. Can't wait for it to be a classic in my house

Christmas in Connecticut was a lot of fun to watch and the characters were very funny. As a title in the budget bin, I'm glad I picked it up.

Barbara Stanwyck is one of my all-time favorites, and she shines in Christmas In Connecticut. Warner Bros. does the film justice with a strong Blu-ray release. I was surprised to find this in one of those clear, round, plastic Discount Bins.

Christmas in Connecticut is a classic comedy that gets a good Blu-ray treatment. Extras (there are few) are the same as were on the DVD.

So good! A definite Christmas classic worth watching over and over again.
