A Christmas Gem,sure to be a Christmas classic for Years to come

The story was great I think everyone should watch this.

The actors are speaking a European language and the English is dubbed over, but still a great story.

The story is a fairly good Christmas story. Can recommend.

I saw this and out of curiosity I bought it. It noted on the cover, "If Disney had thought of this they would have made it." Ah, I do not think so. This movies is rather edgy and really can confuse some young children. It is a foreign made film which proposes to tell the tale of who and how Santa is and came to being. Rough tale and really different. This one as they say in fishing is " definitely not a keeper." As a matter of fact it is my pile of DVDs to donate. Stay away from this Santa version and stick with those good old fashioned animated ones.

A so-so story that has been over-dubbed from the original Finnish. Maybe it lost something in translation.

This was not the story I expected. It was not the best acting, but the story line was ok. I have seen better.

VERY good storyline that is a bit of a tear jerker too (in a good way). Foreign film, but the voice dubbing is pretty good. A "realistic" story of St. Nicholas which answers so many questions as to "why?". Simply a MUST for any Christmas enthusiast. Suitable for the whole family, it will keep everyone entertained. Provides the humanity aspect to St. Nicholas. Instantly moved into my Top 5 for all Christmas movies!!
