I have followed Gaga since the release of "Just Dance" back in 2008. I was excited to learn that she decided to give acting a try. Bravo! When she released the Joanne album, I was uninterested. Gaga represented "dance", and Joanne was going in a different direction.
With that said, I was happy when I heard of a new production in the works. "Chromatics", Gaga's sixth album was more of what Gaga fans have been expecting of her. Up"beat", danceable, including a hidden, or blunt message depending on her mood.
Let's begin with the LP. It has been documented to be made out of 180 gram weight vinyl. It is not. It is very flimsy. Although the "Milky White" transparent is impressive, I would have preferred black vinyl instead. While playing this LP, Side A to be exact. I noticed that it was tight fitting around the spindle. Push it down in the center to the platter and the record appears flat. However, when turning the record over to Side B. This is were you will discover a problematic warp. Since I am able to control the tracking and anti-skate, I can work around this problem. For those who cannot, may experience skipping. I have acquired the technique where I am able to flatten the vinyl without causing damage to the grooves.
Now, let change hands and discuss the Plastic Jacket, and the liner notes. The plastic jacket is much thinner than the jacket used for the picture disc, "The Fame Monster". This would explain the reason behind the warp record. Not 180 grams, and no support from the jacket. The liner notes, barely legible. The lettering is faint, and it appears to be printed on wax paper. There isn't any artwork included as advertised.
Sound quality is not bad. There aren't any detectable surface noises. But I have to admit, Lady GaGa's voice sounds different in some of her songs. There is definitely a change within her vocal quality, and capabilities. To me, maybe she was reluctant to do another dance album. But that is what devoted fans expect from her. After all, it was that genre that made her climb the charts.
Lady Gaga will always hold a place in my heart. She has stood by the LGBT community, more than Madonna. I will always be grateful for that.
From one of her many "Little Monsters", God Bless.

A great mix of new electro and 90s house pop. It is an excellent addition to her discography. This vinyl though does not come with the cover as pictured. It is a milky clear vinyl in a clear sleeve with an insert about the songs credits. Fantastic sound quality on a good turntable. No complaints.

The vinyl is beautiful and sounds as if it were pressed well. My only issue is the packaging. Its just a plastic casing. Not the standard cardboard sleeve that every other vinyl ive ever purchased has had. It feels cheap and makes it hard to store. Disappointing to be honest but otherwise, worth it. The album and the disc itself are phenomenal.

Physical music always sounds better than downloads. Sound is consistent on vinyl and compact disc. Hope that Best buy continues to sell both for the artist and the consumer

The picture for the lp is not real im returning this product. It picture shows a lp cover all I recieved was a record in a plastic sheet. When I called customer service they were perplexed like I was and apologized.

Everything is clear. Vinyl, packaging, labels. Maybe an ok concept on paper but it’s not appealing in person. It feels kind of dingy and cheap. Looks out of place with other records. Record sounds great though
