Chronicle reminds me of the classic anime film Akira. It follows a group of friends that uncover a strange crater. This leads to the discovery of new strength, and telekinetic abilities. Of course things quickly go from fun to dangerous when the group starts to use their powers for their own purposes.

Interesting story about these teenagers gainings these powers of the mind and then trying to cope with all of their power. Goes from and adolescent start in pranks to a menacing tone with some tragic consequences. Fun movie and made you think a bit about your own "What if?"

It's not a blockbuster, it's not a sequel, it doesn't have big name stars. It's just an entertaining take on the old "what power does to people" theme. It's the sort of "little" but very good movie that ought to be made more often. And the price is certainly a bargain.

Chronicle plays out like a super hero origins story meets a story about a bullied kid who takes revenge, only now he has super powers, All told from a found footage perspective. It's a great mash up of genres. Good Acting, good story, and good direction.

Probably one of the most original ideas for a "superhero origin" movie that there's been in quite a while. Combining found footage and this type and having multiple phneomenal young actors. Great movie, great ideas, great acting

Well some of the concepts in this movie might not be the most original the delivery and execution is next level! It would of been great if this guy got to direct rogue one, even though there’s nothing wrong with the way it actually came out. Sad to see how he was treated with FF. This movie pwns! Looking forward to his next one with Tom Hardy!

I'm not fan of found footage films due to how much the camera will shake, but this film does it just right and I LOVE it! The character are well written and the story is very good, if you don't like or even hate found footage films I would recommend you give this movie a try.

Director Josh Trank creates a great super hero movie here, without falling into the genre layout that so many movies stick to. Just like "Unbreakable", Chronicle shows how super heroes and villains become who they are.

Overall I enjoyed this movie and will watch it again. It took a while for the plot to develop, and the part where they get their special powers is kind of lame, but once you get past that the movie takes off and is enjoyable.

This film has taken found footage to a whole new level, but having the actors use their powers of telekinesis to control the camera we get a more dynamic, self shot looking movie then we have ever been able to see so far!

Chronicle is good. It's Super good. It does everything that a super hero movie needs to do while still being driven by the characters. The budget isn't the hundreds-of-millions that the Disney/Marvel or WB/DC films have, but Chronicle is arguably better than many of those installments. Definitely check this one out- it's got it all.

Searched for the movie for a while. The best buy site said they had it in stock but I couldn't find it. Guy working there searched for about 30 minutes and I almost just left. But for 4.99 glad I waited.

It was an interesting movie. I felt like I was watching superman because they were learning how to fly. overall it was a good story line. I think the end could of ended differently but it was a good movie.

Taking the conceit of "found footage" cinema, Chronicle puts a fresh spin on both it and superpowers. The characters are all well drawn, fleshed out and convincing. I don't want to give away too much, but suffice it to say that the movie never cheats, even when the footage is third party. It's very engrossing and the effects are quite impressive.

Great movie!! A must see! WHAT IF you encountered super human abilities? Would it make you a better person, a dark person, or a scared and confused person? This movie was awesome!

An underrated movie that is definitely worth purchasing. Although there are other movies with a similar concept this one had both good acting and a nice slow buildup to the action.

This movie has everything to be great. Stays average tho. The special effects are amazing for a found footage movie. Loved it when I was a teenager. Guess I have higher standards now lol

Excellent action, fantastic storytelling, and a unique plot. I really loved this movie and when I saw it for this price there was no way I was going to pass it up.

I really enjoyed this movie. It is very original and the visuals are great. For an action/ fantasy movie it has a dark tone, which I ended up liking. I was also thrilled that this was a dvd / bluray 2 pack. It will be nice to own one bluray for when I decided to upgrade-- especially one like this with great effects.
