I had 2 free gift cards from buying movies in store. Went online on my computer and bought Iron Man 3. I activated my blu ray player and linked my UV account thinking that the movies would flow both ways like with VUDU and other services. First of all my blu ray player did not show my purchase in my library, but showed all my other movies. Tech support could not help they wanted to "send it up" and me wait 72hrs, unacceptable. Then I find out I can't view the movie on other UV services and that you don't really own the movie, its just an indefinite rental. At any time they can stop carrying the movie and you will no longer have access to an item that you "bought". To top it all off a portion of the website mentioned a 10 movie UV starter kit for signing up for Cinema Now and linking a UV account. Tech support told me the offer had expired even though it is still talked about the web site. Over all just a bad experience. I would say use these cards just to rent, but other reviewers seem to have trouble with that as well.

Luckily this card was free, part of a package deal i got at best buy. I would never buy this card, nor would i suggest it to others. I received two cards; one didn't work so i returned it. The replacement card didn't work either. I contacted the cinamanow help desk and I haven’t received a response from them in over two weeks. Plus, I downloaded a movie and it won’t even play on my Blueray player that has the cinemanow app on it. Netfilx is so much better and easier to use. Don’t waste your money and if possible ask best buy for $20 BB gift card instead.

I love using the gift card for cinemanow. That keeps me from over spending on my movie rentals. Easily loads to your online cinemanow account within seconds.

I have an ultraviolet collection that I use all the time on VUDU which is exactly what Cinemanow should be. The disc to digital is very nice and is the only thing about the service that works. 2 PS3's show my library but won't play any of them. A Samsung smart TV won't even show my library. 4 Ultraviolet titles I've purchased do not show up as Ultraviolet, thus I am not able to play them on Vudu or Flixster(apps that actually work# Many times I can't even purchase a movie#which I only buy on Cinemanow to be able to play on VUDU# on the website as it won't allow you. Customer service is a joke. Your original contact won't be able to correct anything and escalates your call/chat. The escalation only gives stock answers-unlink, relink, delete and redownload app, use Firefox or Google Chrome#which also do not work), etc. Hopefully Best Buy is actually working on this service but as of now it's a complete joke.

I like getting these pre paid gift cards for cinemanow movies. I like to watch the movies that come out on Tuesday new release then waiting to watch on rentals.

I have placed many calls and had many instant chats trying to fix issues buying and trying to fix issues. Not one issue has been resolved. I have sent screen shots of issues so they can see problems. They have emailed saying problem was resolved as soon as phone call ended with no resolution. I have had a movie charged to my account by a rep while he was viewing the issue. Many times when you instant chat you wait forever and then you get disconnected from rep. I have been promised escalation of issue but do not hear back nor is issue resolved. Some titles show as UVVU and after you purchase the UVVU logo will disappear so you can not view on other ultraviolet sites. Have tried to purchase one specific movie on 4 different days and it just spins and comes back to same page without completing purchase. Most all devices that I link say no movies in my library after linking them to my account. The reps ask for not only your log in user name but your password as well. The CinemaNow login info is in most cases your Best Buy online login/password as well. This raises security concerns to me. They should be able to view and help with issues without knowing your password.

I had trouble renting/buying movies on my Cinemanow account. They could not fix the problem so they told me to use the Bestbuy account that I also had and link the accounts so I could watch the movies I owned on my devices without having to deactivate and reactivate on the different accounts. This worked at first and then stopped working. I contacted customer service and they could not fix it so they escalated the case. They have been working on this problem for seven months now and still have not fixed it. They don't seem to know how. I suggested that they take the movies from the cinemanow account and put them on the Bestbuy account since the other one doesn't work and they say they can't do it. I know that it can be done since all they have to do is issue coupons to cover the movies I had previously purchased on the cinemanow account. Instead they keep giving me the runaround and keep closing out the case file "accidently". Except for using coupons issued for movies that have disappeared from my account. I will start buying my streaming movies from Amazon from now on. If and when they take care of this I may consider using them again.

Can't beat the price on the seasons of Seinfeld. Shipping was a little slow, but the price was so good, the little bit extra time waiting was worth it.

I got two gift cards I received as gifts. I am constantly having issues with movies viewing on here. The constant buffering is one, and they cannot link the best buy cinema now and the cinema now accounts together, the other one is it stopping in the middle of the movie and then telling me I don't have the rights or license to view this movie. So then I have to re rent the movie all over again. I called customer service many many times (I have a felling they are in a different county because they can barely understand me) and they have not a clue on how to fix any of my issues. They are no help what so ever all they do is give u a coupon code to get a new rental and say they will escalade the case but they never do. I can't wait till my gift certificates are all used up so I don't have to use this nightmare of a service again! I would rather use Netflix or go to the movie store myself!

Cinemanow and this card are both very convenient and easy to use.

Easy way to buy or rent movies from CinemaNow. Buy the card, use it for movie rental/purchases. Love it!

got an voucher from Bestbuy, tried to watch it, everything was perfect until the system tried to retrieve the movie. got a couple of error message on my blue ray dvd player, called to support, waited about 30 min, no response. gave up for my first day of disappointment. just now, tried to see if i can watch it on the computer, this time, it shows network error but my network is okay(25M up and down, fiber). tried chat online. the support was completely unprofessional. only thing he can think of when i described to him the problem was "refund" . repeatedly "refund". even when i tried to know if it's on his end or my end. anyway, to the short of it, i am very disappointed.

Bought a blu-ray player that had cinemanow on it so I gave it a try, I bought two $5 gift cards and tried to rent a movie. Well there was a problem with the movie I tried to rent and they charged me twice for the same movie, so I went to they online customer service support and they gave me a online gift card that was only good for 2 weeks and could only be used to watch a movie from my PC. If I rent another movie it will be thru my TV provider or thru my playstation or xbox

What else can you say? It worked......................

i got free credit towards the service 2 years ago and still havent used it. i cannot spend the money it takes forever to try to buy and the two times i have i always end up having to call customer service to sit for 20 mins just to try to get a movie. i might as well download it online or pay more to just go buy it. its just not worth it. with the frustration i get from a movie not being able to be searched, to not being able to get help from customer service. do not buy.

So we get a movie card and decide to do pay per view over the Internet with Cinemanow. What complete garbage - I have 20Mbps down stream Internet as tested during watching the SD streamed movie. The best that Cinemanow could put out was 0.7Mbps and the movie constantly skipped. Really don't waste your time - the service is horrible. What a disappointment, I thought I had finally found and Internet site to watch new release movies one. I guess I'll have to hope for something new to come along. AVOID THIS LIKE THE PLAGUE!

I received this card when I bought a new router. Went to Cinema Now website to redeem my gift card,after entering the pass key from the back of the card I was told that the passkey was either invalid or used. So the card is useless!!

After activating the Cinema Now device, I was unable to use the card, because an error message said it was an invalid number, or had already been used. I contacted customer service, but have received no satisfactory response; I will NEVER purchase another!
