This is a great movie for B-movie fans. If they ever got smart and did a USA UP! All Nite with Rhonda Shear Boxed sets with B-movies like this and Toxic Avenger, Dudes would be buying them by the car loads.
This review is from Circle of Iron [Blu-ray] [1978]

A good Martial Arts movie for the MA Philosopher

This movie has always been a favorite of mine. Cord the Seeker (Cooper) sets out on a defiant quest to defeat a master and read a sacred book that he guards. Along the way, Cord is guided by a blind master (Carradine), through various trials, to find that things are not always as they seem. This is not so much a Martial Arts movie as it is a movie about philosophy. A very good story, mediocre acting.
