    Can't really say it's the greatest American film, but it ranks right up there. Tight story, great visuals, cinematic chances in terms of different angles, close-up shots, camera tricks, etc. The perfect film to study on how American filmmaking is done.

    This movie is not only a classic, it is a masterpiece in the art of film making. I watch a lot of movies and I review films. I found nothing wrong with Citizen Kane. Everyone should see this one and the transfer to Blu Ray was beautiful.

    I do question "Greatest movie ever" though. But to each their own. I will admit that could watch this anytime and I have easily seen it 20+ times. Highly recommended to everyone.

    High quality dive into one of the best classics. The audio and visual quality is cleaned up and pristine and adds to my classics collection quite nicely.

    I don’t think this is the greatest movie of all time, but I do feel that it has been very influential to movie making history.

    I really can't add anything more to what has already been said about the greatness of this movie. I upgraded my old dvd copy to this blu-ray and am very happy with the quality improvement.

    this set comes with the movie, an insightful feature length documentary and an HBO film about what it took to make Citizen Kane. What's not to love.
