To be honest, I'm not the biggest Avenged fan. This album is alright, but nothing knocked my socks off.

Their first real commercial hit, this album ushered in a sound that can reach a wider audience. Some say it was a "sell out" with a less heavy sound, but I think it is a very solid release with great songwriting and variety. If you like any other A7X albums, then you should enjoy this one also.

I've been wanting to buy this for a long time but I kind of was putting off buying it because I wasn't seeing a good price on it anywhere and then when I was at Best Buy the other day I saw this and thought it was a good price so then I ended up buying it and I really like it it's a good CD

This album is pretty amazing! A7X has the greatest songs out there, and this cd has some of them. Their music is just beautiful, and it has amazing guitar solos. It is worth to buy this CD. All of A7X songs are amazing, but the songs on this album is just incredible, never gets old! R.I.P James Sullivan (Rev)

I bought this for Bat Country & now have a few new songs I love listening to. Love this band & how they are not afraid to push the limits with their music as they continue to progress & build their sound. I would recommend this to anyone who is an Avenged Sevenfold fan & they don't already own it.

Great $ & offering from A7X pop it in then cruise.

This was the first of the polished new avenged that featured a less hardcore and more mainstream sound with less screaming and grunting. Overall a great album where you could tell the band was having a great time.

This record is the first time that I ever herd them in 2005, and I constantly listened to it for probably a couple of years after that, and still do...gfr

I recently got into this band coming from a classic rock back ground. They have very good songs that I liked. Some that I did not, but just my musical taste. For the low price of $4.99 it was well worth it if you do not know these guys.

I stare at a computer all day for work, so naturally, I need to listen to music that keeps me going. This accomplishes that. 'AS' is a great metal band, and this dude can sing! Snagged this for $4.99 ... well worth it!

Totally wish I could sing like him but as the female version - would be a better success story than in real life because my voice sucks.

product is a buy repeat for me, as discs are slowly going out of style its nice for an old timer like myself to find one I can appreciate especially for a low price

If you know, you know. This album is the one that introduced the world to what Avenged Sevenfold was formed to be.

Even if you never got into A7X you can't deny that this album was their best, both instrumentally and vocally.

A7X is amazing. Let's bring back CDs for real. Old school still cool.

With tracks like The Beast and the Harlot and Bat Country, this album is a must have for Avenged Sevenfold fans.

Lost original CD and saw that my local store had this and had to get it for old times sake and love it.

If you are not familiar with A7X, it is a blend of Iron Maiden meets Megadeth. What's not to like?

I bought this cd mainly for beast and the harlot and bat country. The cd is overall good though. I love this band.
