Fulci does it again. Great splatter effects. He is one of the best.

One of Lucio Fulci's best films. The film provides gore, drama, and fright. It would have been great to see what Fulci might have done today, but sadly that is not to be. Also recommended by Fulci: The Beyond, Don't Torture a Duckling, and A Woman in a Lizard's Skin. This is a great start.

No doubt about it this is a horror cult classic. I first watched this when I was a kid and it was named The Gates Of Hell. However I was too young to remember it. I should have left it that way. The effects for the time are great. Too good in my opinion. Now in HD its even worse. Very creepy and totally disgusting. Here is a short list of foods I'll never be able to eat again... Rice Most if not all meats. Anything white with red sauce. Pizza with extra cheese Relish Chili Chunky soup is out Mustard Spaghetti So if you have a strong stomach go for it. If you have a weak stomach and plan on dieting then.... go for it.

I think this movie is on of fulci's best. The story line is amazing and the plot is outline well. For the time and how much money Fulci had i give this a five star rating. You will either love or hate this movie, depends on your style.

this movie is old and has all the cheesy stuff from the '8o's but it is still a great movie. its different without being stupid.

Not the best zombie movie. But it is a classic old one. So zombie fans, buy it, all others might want too skip it.

I AM A ZOMBIE FANATIC AND I SHOULD LOVE EVERY ZOMBIE MOVIE OUT THERE, BUT I COULDN'T STAND TO WATCH THIS MOVIE--THE ZOMBIES WERE KIND OF GHOSTLY AND EVERY TEN SECONDS THE LOUDEST SHRIEK WOULD OCCUR AS IF SOME ACTION WAS ABOUT TO GO DOWN-- THEN THE WIND WOULD BLOW OR A CAT WOULD MEOW AND THAT WAS THAT-THE SO-CALLED "ZOMBIES"WOULD APPEAR AND DISAPPEAR-THEY DIDN'T ATTACK BY BITING BUT WITH THEIR MINDS-DON'T BUY THIS -IT WAS AWFUL-TRUST ME!!I IT WAS TOO OLD AND NOT SCARY AT ALL! CORN-Y.
