Got this as a gift for my wife as she is a big clash of the titans fan. She had the dvd version and yes its on netflix but this is way better. With the streaming there can be pixelation and loss of quality but the pucture and sound on the blu ray are amazing. And for 5.99 its very worth it.

You can NEVER go wrong with a classic and original movie.. These days they all have to remake everything. They seem to never have their own ideas lol. remake, remake, remake... Then they put these classics and originals in Blu Ray and wow. It is like watching a New movie.. awesome transfer quality.

This wasn't an outstanding film when it came out, but for fans of the genre it should not be missed. One of the last films Ray Harryhausen did. For my money there are two things in this film that have not been equaled by the remake: The Scorpions and Medusa. Harryhausen's work holds a charm and reflects a grasp of the subject which I think many of the modern CGI efforts miss through one-upsmanship choreography.

I know there's a lot of movies made with the same budget and effect that this movie had that have not aged well ... sort of like milk. However, I'm pleased to say that I think this movie is just as enjoyable now as it was in the 80s. I wouldn't show it to my 5 year old, but it's for my wife and I to enjoy.

This is an all time classic you cannot find old movies like this on bluray anywhere these days thus is such a huge part of my childhood. I absolutely love the work of ray Harry housen. This is such a piece of film history right here. It don't get any more classic than this! The cgi and film quality/color is much much better from the way that I remember it!

Unlike the 2010 remake, the original "Clash of the Titans" was super cool and had incredible special affects. Harry Hamlin, created from Zeus' affair with a mortal, is pushed to save humanity from the Kracken, a hideous creature from the depths of Aegean Sea bent on eating virgins.

Man, I use to watch this as a kid and I hadn't watched it in 20 years or so. I saw that it was available online and I bought it. Watched it the day it arrived and the movie still holds up well. It looks great on Blu Ray!!

This is an all time classic sci-fi movie and is very good considering it released in 1981. The effects look pretty bad for today's standards, but they are surprising better than you would think they would be. I definitely recommend for classic sci-fi fans.

Such a classic! Saw this and had to add it to my collection. Was a huge fan of this movie when I was young. The stop motion animation (although outdated by today's standards) is truly a marvel. This is one of my new favorites.

This film is a classic. Although some of the special effects are cheesy, the cast contains some big name stars: Sir Laurence Olivier, Maggie Smith, Burgess Meredith, .... then there's Harry Hamlin and his totally 80's hair. ("It's gotta be the hair, Cotton!") This is a "B" rated movie at best, so if you love "B" movies, this ones for you. I give it 4 Stars... who doesn't want to see the Krakken?!? :)

This was one of favorite films from when I was a kid. THe Ray Harrysausen effects are a classic part of this film and seeing it on HD for the first time brought me back to being a 10 year old kid on a saturday morning watching this fantastic tale.

This one has it all. The hero's journey. The princess who refuses to do what she is told to do. Monster, Gods and skeleton warriors brought to life by none other than Ray Harryhausen. While, for someone this might seem a bit funny, since its claymation and not CGI. This is the original version. The story and acting is the best of the two films. No comparison.

This is a fantastic old school stop motion effects film. Ray Harryhausen's beautiful creatures amaze even today, almost 40 years later. I highly recommend this disc. It includes the movie and some great special features.

A classic in Blu-ray ! BUY THIS ! One of my favorites of all time...based on the hero Perseus who must save a princess from the certain death of THE KRACKEN and he gets all the toys he needs for this epic journey.

I have loved mythology since I was a kid. This was a great movie that I loved to watch growing up even though it came out years before I was even born. It's a great classic without needing all the special effects of the new one nor having a perpetually angry and unlikable "hero."

clash of the titans is a great movie. it uses stop motion special effects which is nothing like cgi. this is old school but i love these ray harryhausen movies. so much fun to just chill out and enjoy

As I've been swapping my collection over to BluRay, I've been waiting for this one. I guess I missed when it first came out. Transfer is decent, and it's a GREAT movie no matter what format.

This is one of my favorites going back to childhood. There's a certain charm to the old fashioned special effects, including the stop motion effects from the legendary Ray Harryhausen. I think it's a classic.

Arguably one of Ray Harryhausen's best modern stop motion feats-- Sinbad and the Eye of The Tiger also ranks high. See Medusa, the Kraken, winged Pegasus, Calibos Lord of the Marsh, the beautiful Andromeda and a stern Laurence Olivier as Zeus. This is 1 of my favorite films of all time!

OK this isn't the greatest movie and due to its age the cgi isn't great. However, it's a fun movie and I took the opportunity to get it in Blu Ray. It's cheesy but fun.
