    I bought this movie in the hopes that my 6 year old would like it - He loves it and has learned the names of a few Greek Gods

    A wonderfully cheesy 80s romp with delightfully hokey effects and an air of self-importance that you just don't see today. I am a huge fan of 80s movies, and this is a great addition to the collection. Yes, it does slow down from time to time, and folks raised in today's short attention span culture might be turned off, but for children of the 80s or fans of vintage sci-fi, this is a delight that runs circles around the recent CGI-heavy remake.

    They don't make movies like this anymore making watching this fun even on just a technical level. Unfortunately the extras are lacking.
