Grows Mold very well, other things not so much
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this product in a subscription box. Setup was exactly as per instructions. It had 3 pods, of which 2 just grew mold. I inquired with the manufacturer, they suggested to "scrape the mold off", which I did. But still nothing grew in those pods. The third pod did grow (Basil), however the basil was rather flavorless. The water in the device just stands, which resulted in more mold and flies. I ended up throwing the unit in the trash, as I found this to bad that i could not even see myself giving it away for free. I do own an AeroGarden, which is the significant better option to purchase.
