This tuner is awesome! I can just leave it on my guitar and tune it when needed.

Due to the high reviews for the product this is probably better directed to Best Buy's service policies than to the MFG. I purchased a tuner as a daily deal. Great price seemed to be the item I needed for relatives who were learning to play the guitar. I bought it as gift a couple of months before the celebratory event. Upon receipt I wrapped it and placed it on the bedroom dresser where it remained for a couple of months. When the big day arrived, my daughter opened it only to find that the ball and joint connection was broken. I called Best Buy immediately explained the problem but was told they would not accept it for exchange since the time limit had expired. I had opened the external packaging upon receipt but did not open the cellophane packaging since visually it did not look broken, and I wanted to preserve the opening for the recipient. I have purchased several items through the daily specials advertisements but as a matter of principle will not be buying anything else by this method, and in fact try to avoid Best Buy altogether. I was connected to a supervisor at my request who told me there was nothing she could do for me, and advised me there was no one above her I could talk to about the problem.

Picked this tuner up for my new les Paul. Makes it sound like Jesus.
