This is my first CLX and I didn't know what to expect. I didn't buy this for gaming but instead bought it for video editing. In editing h.265 6K 420 10 bit video from my Panasonic S5ii with b-roll on top of it that ranges from 4k 30p to 4k 120p and ocassionally 8k30p 10 bit 422 this computer isn't even trying. It just works and my productivity is way up. So much that I thought I'd say thank you to CLX for making this.
My Old Alienware Aurora R13 with an i9 14000k and 3060ti could do it if I set playback resolution to 1/4 but I could never check it in full resolution. It would freeze up and crash. If I had a really loaded timeline with graphics, b-roll etc it would often crash even in performance mode.
So even better is this came no bloatware. Just whatever comes with Windows and that's it. I'm so impressed by this. It feels like you just built your own desktop and all you have to do is update it and download the software you need. It's such a great feeling to not have to find all these questionable programs that might affect your performance and delete them.
It didn't even come with the software for the motherboard. The fans were noisy until I downloaded ASRock Tuning and set up the Fan-Tastic Tuner (horrible name) but now it runs incredibly quiet and even under heavy load it's never that hot.
I haven't had a single glitch yet in about the week I've owned it and if this holds for a few years I'll for sure be a loyal CLX customer. I'm so glad I didn't go with another Dell or bigger name brand desktop manufacturer.
I added a second 8TB NVME and replaced the 4TB HD with a 12TB HD to hold all my work and down the line I might upgrade the RAM but as it stands now I've never had a desktop like this. It's truly impressive.
I would recommend this to a friend

I got one of these (through another retailer) and am mostly happy with it now that I've got it set up and figured out.
It came with nothing more than a quickstart guide about hooking it up to peripherals and power. No manuals or even links to them for all the third party components.
PROS
It's the beast you expect it to be.
It's a straight up install of Windows, so minimal crapware.
CONS
Also, the case fans are not controllable via the BIOS and start up at full speed (loud). It took some random "what's this button for" to find the button on the case that controls their speed. It's the small one next to the power button on top and it cycles through four speed settings.
When I called to get data on the components so I could look up the manuals online, they sent me a parts list that had the wrong CPU, wrong amount of RAM, wrong motherboard, and wrong graphics card. The machine had the right parts, but the list didn't.
