Not slippery or glossy. The top and bottom are basically exposed, so, if you’re worried about that, this may not be the case for you. It’s slim and fits my iPhone 11 perfectly.

Exactly what I thought

Then dropped phone and piece of plastic case broke off near camera. Phone was ok though. Phew. Case did it’s job and looked good while it lasted. A little pricey though.

This matches my black Coach purse. It is super slim if that is what you are after. If you want full protection from drops, you should get Otterbox instead.
