I got the Coast HX5 and used the 1AA batteries for a month before the 14500 batteries showed up with a li-ion battery charger. I thought the light was very bright on 1AA 130 lumen, but when I installed the charged 14500 li-ion 3.7 volt batteries the light went up to 345 lumen almost 3 times brighter. The HX5 fits in the coast sheath for up to 4.5" flashlights. The HX5 has become my favorite flashlight, there are no sharp edges, the zoom works one handed, by pushing out the head, the on-off button works good and is big enough for adult fingers. You won't be disappointed if you get this led mini flashlight, don't forget the 14500 li-ion batteries & charger.

The Coast HX5 is my favorite everyday carry flashlight, with the Coast S20 sheath, No extra flash or low beam just works like it should every time you turn it on. Runs on 1AA alkaline= 130 lumens for 3-3/4 hours, or 1AA rechargeable NIMH= 125 lumens for 1-1/4 hours, or 1 Lithium-ion 14500 battery= 345 lumens for 3/4 hour the 3.7 VDC li-ion battery packs a punch, it's like 2-1/2 times as bright. This little flashlight 4" long and 1" dia. at lens and 0.75" dia. at battery compartment, has a removable clip. The zoom adjusts to a strong pin point with a halo or wide angel flood. You won't be disappointed with this flashlight.
