Cheesy but awesome. The night slasher and the new world order rock

Classic Stalone with the beautiful Bridget Neilson. It's too bad he wrecks the Mercury.

I had a gift card to use & wanted to purchase ‘Cobra’ & ‘Duel’ on Blu-ray. I think took 15 minutes to order as it was bouncing back & forth & buffeting so long. I placed the 2 Blu-ray’s in my cart (or so I thought)... evidently I ordered 2 Cobras! I didn’t need 2 & I tried to cancel (but it wouldn’t let me). Plus a Best Buy employee couldn’t cancel it for me either. So I now have 2. The online ordering on Best Buy is very touchy. Be careful.

I specifically ordered this movie on a regular dvd and not a blue ray because I don't own a blue ray player. However I improvised and bought a blue ray player and this movie WILL NOT PLAY. Very disappointed

One of Stallone's finest. The transfer to Blu Ray is absolutely amazing. This 80s classic has never looked better!

this movie has everything you could ever want in a terribly-awesome '80s action movie. stereotypes, music montages, action, bad special effects, a car chase, bad acting, terrible one-one liners... you name it! cheesy fromage at its finest. but the best part is the director's commentary; i'm sure he's inebriated and keeps getting moreso as the movie goes on! a must watch.

COBRA is the epitome of 80s camp. The story of a hard-nosed cop who plays by his own rules and is tough on crime! Super violent, nonstop action and easily Sly's best vanity film. There isn't much to the plot here, and that's probably best. It's a shame the film never got a sequel. The transfer isn't the best, but it is acceptable enough until Shout or another boutique distributor gets their hands on the masters.

Looks like Rambo in sunglasses. Sleek Sly in his prime. Cheesy 80's music. Cliché cop / witness romance. Night Slasher played a convincing slasher-killer. PQ was good until the dark scenes came at the end. Lots of macroblocking when I viewed it.

'Cobra' isn't one of Stallone's best pictures, but it's not his worst either. For all the films faults and inconsistencies, it still manages to conjure up some adrenaline-rushed action scenes that will please fans of the genre. Apparently, the film was considerably violent in its original form and had to be cut down in order to avoid an X rating. Good widescreen dvd here, including a feature length audio commentary by director Cosmatos.

Stallone Rocks.. worth of purchase much awaited to see!!

I ended up buying this movie, thinking it was another Stallone movie which I had seen. Not only was it the wrong movie, but the DVD actually cracked in half, when I went to take it out of the case. I didn't even bother to try and get a replacement, I think it did me a favor, by breaking, lol.
