This is definitely a good buy but yes it has issues, this minus the 1 star. I waited a good while and gave it a lot of use before leaving this review. My complaint right out of the box was all the wiring to the rear camera, it bunches up if you don't have someone to route it and make it look nice or hidden. It has shorted out on me several times but only the rear camera, I do have the 2 or 3 year protection plan on it and will soon be taking it in as the rear gives out At least once a drive now so it may be a wiring issue. The video quality is great and the sensor works well, so when it thinks you have been involved in an accident it turns on that mode and makes the video saved permanently until you delete it.

This was a great camera dash cam for almost two years. After that it would no longer record. I'm thinking it got fried from the heat. It was easy to use while it lasted.

I bought this dash cam after riding with a friend who also has the setup. It works great and provides peace of mind to prove what happens on the road when people think no one is watching. Also great for capturing off road or track day videos.

Video is outstanding both inside and out. Very easy set up. Great dual cameras and couldn't ask for anything more. Wanted to be able to view trips inside the car, as well as what is ahead. Got a lot of laughs reviewing our trips inside the car, but I think the camera was meant more for what is happening outside the back of the car. I just haven't tried that yet, but can vouch for the excellent quality of the videos that I have both inside and out. If you are looking for good quality in a dash cam...look no further.

My third dash cam and it’s by far the easiest to set. The rear camera is exactly what I wanted. Night time videos could be better but it suits my needs.

It's still a little premature to write a complete review. I need to play around with the camera more. I've had trouble getting some of the features to work. I can't seem to turn off the microphone. It's annoying that every time I adjust the position of the camera, it loosens the whole mechanism making it wobbly. I have to take it apart then and twist it around to tighten it. Also, since I had this installed in my car, I"m getting static on the radio. AM is awful now with a constant humming sound and the end of the dials on FM have some static too. I'm not sure why it's related, but it wasn't happening before I got the camera. The quality of the video is really very good during the day. Night time is not quite as good. I do like the ease of snapping a picture. Still, in the end this seems to be a reasonably priced option for high def video. Installation was a bit pricey at $120.

Well, I got this camera system back in June, and it is pretty cool. One down fall is that I cannot get it to re-record over itself automatically like other brands. But I do like the rear camera! Like most rears, they are big and sometimes hard to look behind yourself and see them. But my rear isn't as big as most, as I drive a jeep. But I would rate my rear on a scale 1-10 as a 7... or maybe an 8. Depends on who is behind me. Butt having this camera on my rear makes it easy to back up and not bump into anyone, as that might be a little awkward.

I drive for Lyft and Uber so after I got in a minor accident I bought this for prevention purposes. It is very useful. The front can be flipped and record the road or interior and records audio as well. I bought an additional memory card with its highest capacity because I spend a lot of hrs driving. It also has a sensor and records when your vehicle is parked afterwards and see if it was hit or bumped by another car, it is sensitive. Overall this item is ok I would give it a 4.

Just started using this Dash Cam, but really like it a lot. The screen is clearer than our old one, and the extra options, like taking a snap shot are quite beneficial.

Excellent easy to use wish it had a more wide view to see the sides of thr car other then that records 1080p and was eazy to set up.

The only issue I had was, the suction cup on camera wasn’t good. Not designed for semi truck. It fell off and charging port damaged, since the power cord was hooked on it. I could never use it again.

Camera seemed to work good out of the box but very quickly problems became apparent. Date would never stay correct - kept resetting every time vehicle was started or unit was unplugged. Constantly recorded, not just when motion was detected - would have hours of total darkness in recordings from recording all night. Sometimes front facing camera would flip image upside down for no reason so all recording were upside down and lastly I've had this camera now for aprox 10 months and it no longer works. It started displaying the error message to re-insert SD card. Even tried a new SD card and still doesn't work. Good luck if you buy this camera

Video quality : Front camera - 3/5 Rear - 2/5 The price to high and not equivalent to its quality.

This front and back dash cam combination is great! It picks up at very wide angles so that even when you are practically underneath the traffic light, the camera can still pick up the light. And, when you connect it up to your computer and download the videos, the videos are very clear and easy to see. A very good dash cam indeed!

This is the second camera I have bought for my vehicle. The first one worked fine for about a month and then shorted out due to the back camera malfunctioning repeatedly. I bought the second camera thinking it was a fluke and within two days the rear camera started malfunctioning again on the new camera system. Ultimately I unplugged the rear facing camera, the reason I bought the system in the first place was for the double view.

Easy instructions and setup of the front and rear camera. Only thing is that you might want to have someone that knows the interior of the vehicle well enough to be able to run the wires to the rear camera. other than that i have not have any issues with it or any hiccups. the split view is nice to have, and the clarity is very good

I hope that I never have to use my dash camera, but if I am ever in an accident that is not my fault, it will come in handy...

It does everything that manufacturer says it would do. Screen is large enough to view any activity. Have not downloaded any driving activity to my computer yet.

Purchased for a second eye in my vehicle for asset protection. I upgraded the micro sd so that I could have more storage. The factory one is good for normal vehicle usage. Footage was amazing as well as the audio. Surprised by how much audio was picked up outside of vehicle as well as how clear both inside and outside sounds were. Rear camera is small enough for placing on dash for ride sharing drivers or out of sight in back glass. Front camera is small enough to place out of line of sight as well. Suctions well and holds steady. Once adjusted and tightened properly there is very little movement. Camera records in 3 minute blocks which I like as I can save what I need to and discard the rest when transferring from SD to PC. Saves from editing video feed and saves space on my PC. Also like the emergency feature how it starts recording when impact is sensed if you have an accident or hit one of the many potholes in Pa. Reassuring to know if I turn off the system and forget to turn back on that it will record in an emergency. Very good product. Worth the price.

We do puzzles on our computer and enjoy the pictures from our camera as puzzles. It also helps us be safe.
