The volume is too low. I play music and can hardly hear it when it goes off. Seems to filter out extraneous signals okay in city mode. No better than my 20 year old detector at picking up signals.

I plugged this in and attached it to my windshield. Never unplugged or moved the power chord around yet within two weeks the chord went bad. You have to have it set a certain way or it loses power. I meant to take it back and get a new one but it was just too much work. As far as the radar itself, it seems to work though there are times when I pass cops on the freeway and get nothing. I'm assuming they are just sitting there to psychologically trick drivers into slowing down.

For the price it works reasonably well. It’s range is somewhat limited however. Fewer false readings than some basic detectors that I’ve owned in years past.

This radar has saved me a couple of times. Works great.

Warning signals appear accurate. Have used on multiple trips in California. Leaving on a multi-state road trip in July. I hope for the same success and avoid any speeding tickets.
