This product is very easy-to-use. Its been upgraded over the years. I owed an earlier model and it lasted 10 years. Its a bit too sensitive for my taste so you get some false alarms. Considering its price it does its job well. I like the app that goes with it and find it useful.

So far so good, i have used the radar for a few weeks now and a couple false alarms but saved my butt yesterday! Great product for the price being so cheap.

It's my first, so I know at this price it's not going to be perfect but so far when I am in range of a radar it detects it. Have not come across any police yet to test it on, but the school zone ones it picks them up quick. Pretty sure it picks up on some business alarms. I think it was picking up a red light camera also. You can adjust the sensitivity. I notice a big difference between the three settings. All in all I am happy.

I was disappointed with this dectector overall. Installation was easy enough as I still had a hardwire installation from a previous device that decided to quit. Inside the box you get the basics such as the device (obviously), a 2 suction cup window mount (and some velcro for a dash install I assume), and a long power cord. Once I got it up and running and set up, I downloaded the app, synced it and off I went, and this is where the disappointment started. When the device is in standalone, it did not seem to pick up much. The second day I had it, I passed 2 cops doing traffic enforcement in my area, and it did not beep or alert me one single time BUT it did go nuts when I pulled into Walgreens. Thinking maybe it was a fluke, I decided to open the app and while sure it worked, using the app requires 2 things. First is your phone to be within your field of vision (If you lay it on the seat, you can not exactly keep looking over at it when and if it decides to send an alert) and second, your phone connected to your cars stereo. I have a 2015 Fusion which has the basic AM/FM/CD combo but also I subscribe to Sirius AND use an SD card for my own music. When I finally did get an alert , I could NOT hear it as my radio was set to Sirius and I also do not clip my phone to my vents or anywhere within my field of vision Given it barely works in stand alone and I can not hear it when linked to the app, for me this device is no bueno. When I was messing with the app, it does have a rather neat feature, a crowd sourced alert based system that allows you to either report something you see or be alerted to what someone else reported, and for the latter, it gives you an option to either confirm or deny said alert.

The first day I used this detector (within 3 days of purchase), it saved me twice. Picked up a signal that I at first thought was from a store as I was on a busy highway, but the signals did not go away and as I continued to drive the signal got stronger. As I crested a small hill, I could see a cop on the opposite site about a half mile down the road with his lights flashing and a poor soul pulled over. After I got on a major highway, about 3 miles in, I had another warning, and as I came around a corner, I could see a state trooper on the overpass and as soon as I saw him, I get lasered! This Cobra lit up like a Christmas tree. I had already slowed down, and as I passed the overpass, I saw a trooper on the on ramp ready to pounce and about 2 miles down the roan, another trooper with a poor soul who was caught. In shorter words, this Cobra works! And works very well. You can't beat the price either!

For the price it isn’t bad, the false alarms can be annoying but to combat that, I recommend changing the sensitivity down in suburban areas. Connecting to the app adds a few beneficial features and is super easy.

This radar detector is the best thing I have bought in a long time. It is precise, the app used is wonderful with a visual display of the problem areas, and it sounds long before you approach a law enforcement vehicle. If you approach an active red light camera, the X band will alert you. That’s pretty cool. Yes I am loving this and would recommend it to anyone!

Works as advertised. Saved me on multiple occasions. Economical insurance against unnecessarily encounters. Some false alrms but excellent for the cost.

Love this radar one of the best things I bought so far

Pretty sweet unit. It even has an app that does crowd reporting, like Waze. It comes with all the mounting material you need. The range is pretty good as well. I haven't owned a radar detector in years! I bought this for my 3000 mile road trip and it paid off. I also use Waze but not every hidden cop gets reported. This saved me on a few occasions! No tickets!
