Product works as intended. Made installation super easy.

Doesn't always reliably keep devive on, I've had to unplug and plug it back in. It's also something that probably shouldn't be an additional charge when you pay for the dashcam to be installed. I also find the idea of having it wired into the car but just being a plug in to be counter intuitive.

Not sure because Geek Squad sold me the wrong one and didn't tell me until they where installing it but the price was the same. Even exchange... but the device is installed facing the passenger seat. I cannot adjust without getting out the car walking to the other side. So, I haven't no idea what to do with it but just ride and hopefully it's records. Make sure you have correct kit!

It's true! Bought this item to hardwire a previously bought dashcam. Install was fast, techs were super friendly, and the product works great. Thank you! Highly recommend both the product and best buy dashcam install

It is long enough to hide the wires and includes connectors on the end to connnect to standard fuse taps. Don't be afraid to use this, its really easy. There are empty powered slots on the always hot side of the fuse box you can tap and for the switched power, tap the cig adapter fuse. The ground is easy, there will be a bolt nearby that holds the fuse box in place. Just use that.

I love my dash cam working fine so far so good I’m thinking of getting one for my other car and I love the fact that it has a rear camera also I didn’t realize how important the dash camera is

Excellent installation of our car cam. Wiring was hidden very well and camera works like a charm. I’ve recommended to several people to have Best Buy install their cams. Can’t go wrong!

I did a hard wire installation of my cobra dash cam with this accesory, the installation instructions are easy, dash cam and accesory working perfectly, parking mode on dash cam enabled.

I’m glad I talked to Eric in installation and he recommended the hardwire. I was worried about the lighter plug getting loose after a while. This is better because you can’t even see it. You would think it came from the factory. This also frees up lighter plug for anything else I might want to use. I’m glad I went there for my install.

Works perfectly. The installer was very professional and efficient.

Works completely as advertised. Does the job it is intended to do.

This adapter seems to be working great so far! I would definitely recommend it.

Added this to gain parking mode access with my dash cam. A worthy upgrade.

Excellent value, simple to install. The added USB-C to micro USB adapter is a great additional bonus.

works great - does what it needs to do and easy to install

This kit is a practical solution if you want a cleaner install instead of cables dangling everywhere. Once it’s set up, it does what it’s supposed to—consistent power and a more professional look. What I liked is the flexibility with USB-C plus the adapter. The downside is that installation can be a little tedious if you’re not used to routing cables or working around trim.

Excellent adapter for dashcam. Allows the dashcam to use Bluetooth.

Gives you a dedicated direct connection freeing up regular dash accessory outlets.

Excellent without this, you will not get the park sensor

Needed for installation of the dash camera and installation went smoothly.
