I bought this TV as a third monitor for my laptop; along with my wireless mouse and keyboard I can do all my school work from the comfort of my bed. My brother just gave the 32" that I was using to his girlfriend, I think I'm going to buy another one of these to replace it. Only negative is that there are a couple of red and blue dots that are visible when there is a black screen; these pixels are only visible from an unnaturally close distance and does not affect the quality of the picture. This would only be a negative for the most #edit# retentive person ,the kind of person who would not buy a refurb in the first place, and does not bother me in the least. I just thought I would mention it for thoroughness. Considering my dad just got what he thought was a great deal, the same size screen and resolution for $500 on sale, whereas I got this for $250 on sale. Basically a buy one get one ,or two, free sale when compared to other comparable TV's!

I paid 249.99 over the internet and about one hour later best buy changed the price to 329....so I think I got me a good deal. I understand it is refurbished but that's I chance I am willing to take. I read the comments from other people before I bought it...and I agree with all of them. Everything is good except the sound. It sounds like an old AM radio....I tried different settings and it sounds like the MUSIC choice is the best, but still I am not sure if I will have to buy some speakers or something extra at this time. I only had it for 3 days and so far no problems, I am keeping the packaging material and the box for at least a month...just in case.

just bought this tv on sale for 250 bucks. the picture quality is really good for watching tv,movies or videogames but the sound is pitiful. it sounds like AM radio in a old car. im now looking at a soundbar or speakers beacause the sound is so awful

Watched the tv when I got it home. Next morning it didnt come on. Now I have to go get my money back.
