Code Geass will no doubt go remain acknowledged as one of the best anime of its generation. Excellent characters, impeccable story writing with plot twists you don't see coming, high stakes and gorgeous visuals. If you haven't checked out this anime, you are missing out on something spectacular. Now would be a great time to start too because there has recently been a lot of figures and other merch coming onto the market at a lot of collectibles shops.

Bought this for a friend for his birthday. Huge anime guy. According to him, the narrative is strong and the animation is beautiful; he watches it on more than one occasion at a time. 5/5 by his standards. I chose this for its nice cover finish and enticing plot summary.

While the over the top nudity and fanservice can be a bit distracting from time to time, the story and characterization is near perfect. You'll fall in love with the characters from this alternate Earth that are at war while desperately trying to save the people and country they love. Lelouch, the main character, has one of the best minds on the planet and when he meets up with a young girl who bestows upon him a new formidable power, he sets his plan into motion; to destroy the holy britannia empire and find the ones who killed his mother.

I've been waiting for years for this anime to be released on Blu-ray so of course when it was announced I immediately got excited. And so the day this came out I went to my local Best Buy and bought the last copy they had and I couldn't be more happy. It looks great.

Code Geass is one of those iconic series that defined its generation. It has everything an anime needs to make it an unforgettable classic. I could explain it to you in this review, but it would not do the series justice. Just watch the first 3 episodes and I promise you will be binging on the rest before you know it.

Code Geass season one sets the bar for providing a background for the tragic protagonist I can't help but empathize with. We see him spiral further down the rabbit hole that is the power of Geass, and how it twists his initial plans into something more elaborate and darker than he had originally planned.

This series is a classic. A must watch for any anime fan. Producer of Akira and art style by CLAMP bring great visuals. Even with a complete story to be had with 2 seasons... there is going to be a third season!

I highly recommend this anime. It has: a great story line, very good animation, catchy opening and ending songs, fanservice, a good English dub, etc... I can't recommend it enough to be honest.

Code Geass is one of the best anime out there. My Best Buy had it at a great price, which is rare since this anime is very difficult to find in stores. I definitely recommend this one.

Code Geass is one of the best animes ever made! It is one of my permenant all time favorites with a profound storyline covering an erray of political and socioeconomic controversies.

A school kid gets the ability to tell people what to do and they must do it. Watch as he attempts to take over the world with this ability and those who are out to stop him.

Takes a minute to get used to animation. But you won't regret it. Gets you sucked in and has a great end game story.

Code Geass is a show that grabs you in pretty quickly and is just a fun rollarcoaster ride to watch. Make sure to get R2 though, this is only half the story.

Code Geass is an amazing show, and I was lucky enough to get this season on sale. I am extremely looking forward to season 3 this year.

This is one of the better anime I have seen and I finally bought the collection. If you like an anti-hero that uses his brains this is for you

Case was slightly broken near the bottom, but that can't be helped. The discs were intact and this show is over of my favourites

I first saw this show on Cartoon Network and I was a little bit impressed by how the characters were drawn. I am also impressed by the voice acting in English, as they sound pretty close to how the characters sound in the Japanese version (just my opinion). I really like the special features, especially where they interview the American voice actors

A great alternate reality tale which tells the story of Lelouch, a disposed prince, who leads a rebellion against a repressive regime.

My husband and I are completely obsessed with this show! When we saw that it was in blu-ray here we just had to buy it! Amazing!!
