I've had better Cole Haan bags, but at much higher prices. This bag is mostly nylon but the inside is nice and soft, almost too soft as I'd like more firmness for separate compartments. My biggest pet peeve is the flap doesn't fully flip over and rest on the other side with this particular model. I have other cole haans that do just that. While this one has an adjustable strap, but by design, this silly strap has installed the comfort pad to one side of the rectangular rings. As a result it limits how long or short you can adjust!!! You have to unloop the entire strap, be clever in orienting the rectangular rings so the comfort pad can slide in/out so you can install back the comfort pad in the "right" location. Be patient, think about it, and you'll figure it out. The most important part to recognize is the long side of the rectangular rings won't fit through the comfort pad, there is no point trying. You have to orient the short side of the rectangular rings through the comfort pad. That means the strap has to temporarily fold awkwardly but trust me, I did it. I have a picture to illustrate the final result. I got this during a major sale. otherwise I honestly would not pay retail price for this one. My 10 year old cloth/denim Cole Haan is more flexible and useful (but way more expensive).

The comfort strap is not centered so it makes it difficult to hang from your shoulder in your desired length. The strap being positioned behind the metal ring so it limits how far you can adjust. The bag itself looks great, zipper and magnetic clasps are heavy duty and work with ease. Lot of different pockets & soft padded cloth inside.

Cole haan is a great brand and this bag looks top of the line and even gives me the feeling of someone to be looked at and taken seriously, it's not a snobby briefcase Nor a hipster messenger bag, rather a slim, sophisticated, modern, efficient laptop & more bag

The bag does what it's supposed to do, which is keep the laptop protected. The padding is decent enough and the overall quality of the bag is fine. Not many pockets so don't expect to be able to haul tons of binders and folder in it.

Stores a 15 inch unit vey well with power cord. Has plenty of extra storage for documents, pens, cards, power systems and misc. I wish I would have bought another for my other sales rep. I wish it had just a little more storage room.

My old briefcase was about to disintegrate when I saw this come up as a Deal of the Day. Some people complain that there's more nylon than leather but it's very well-made and easy to clean if you need to do so. This holds everything I need when I take my laptop on the go.

I was looking for a case for my computer for when I travel. This fit the bill perfectly.

Elegant, solid and sophisticated. I really enjoy this item. The construction is solid, the design is elegant and it is very spacious. I have enough room for my tablet and chargers. I approve and recommend.

I use this to bring my laptop to and from work and when I work from other offices. It has plenty of room inside for documents and other accessories so I usually bring my phones and cables with and misc documents. There is room for a small portfolio as well. I also use it to travel so I put my iPad Pro with laptop in one bag. For a guy, I was a bit worried about it being feminine but it's not. It looks great.

I used this fir my microsoft pro and it works great. It has a decent amount of space and holds everything I need. The one drawback is the shoulder strap is only connected to the back side of the bag.

I had few other bags but there were not as good of quality as this one ! I really love the sleek look and how compact it is !!! Also I a lots of pockets for small electronic accessories

Very nicely stitched. Very good quality material. The pockets were perfect for the computer.

Seems pretty well made. It is predominantly cloth with nice leather for the top and most of the front. I decided to get it since my backpack never would stay on my shoulder and it was a pain to put both straps on. This works much better when you need to carry other items in and you want to avoid the backpack always falling off. So build quality is good. Magnetic straps are sturdy. Zipper seems good strength. Only thing that would have been nice is that the shoulder pad on the strap seems place for someone who is a lot taller than me at 6 ft. So if it could be more easily moved when you shorten it. That would have been even better. But for the price... Wonderful replacement and looks nice to boot.

Good use of space in the front pocket, padded laptop area fits my X series Lenovo quite well, and a but fancier than my old backpack.

I picked this up on the Deal of the Day and it is absolutely worth it. Nice style and size for a commuter bag.

Materials are high quality, and the design is compact and does not take up a lot of space (not bulky).

The portfolio or bag is built well. The materia is durable and it looks classic.
