This is a nice little sleepy thriller, about a thirty-something year old son visiting his estranged father for the first time in years. At first, things seem fairly normal. Then things begin to take an awkward turn soon after. I was expecting the film plot to take the typical horror route half way in, then goes in a completely different direction suddenly. Pretty cool and unexpected. Not to be taken too seriously obviously. Elijah Wood is great as usual with his offbeat performance.

The trailer was intriguing but also deceptive. The movie is way different than it first appears and it's one wild ride. It's been one of my favorite movies I've watched this year. I rented it and immediately purchased it after watching it. Elijah Wood is great in this. Again, this movie is totally unexpected but absolutely worth your time!

Totally kept me intrigued. The twists and turns kept me guessing. Loved the strained relationship between father and son and how they come to terms with it.

Elijah wood has been my hero as of late. His indie horror choices, have been awesome. And CTD, is ambitiously weird and wonderful.

This was a very strange yet entertaining movie. Unexpected bits of humor sprinkled in. I enjoyed it!

This is a movie that just isn't sure what kind of movie it wants to be. Sometimes it acts like a Horror film, and at other times it's a straight up comedy. I just found it to be okay.

If you love dark twisted humor and a gripping story that you can't predict the twists and turns, than this is your flick! More people need to see this.
