The variety of friends who recommended this show to me should've sent me searching years ago, but now that I've finally found Community staring at me from a BestBuy kiosk at the right price, it is time. I watch almost no TV on TV, following a few shows when they hit disc format. And almost no TV comedies. Then there's Community. The set-up allows for typical college misadventures with the wrinkle of mixed ages & backgrounds for the characters. And the characters build up the possibility for the wild, fun episodes that pay homage to classic movies & situations. And I'm glad to see Chevy Chase being funny again after VEGAS VACATION made me think he'd actually died.

When I first started watching this season I had not heard much about it and decided to try something new. After five episodes I was pleasantly surprised how things got better and better as the momentum of the show picked up past intros and you could see the chemistry between some of the actors in the show. Each on one has their quirks kind of like the office but different enough to were it still stays fresh.

If you haven't seen Community yet, definitely make it the next high priority item on your TV watching list. It's a very funny and clever series that has great re-watch value. The series includes a lot of pop culture references but even if that isn't your thing, there's still lots of great humor for everyone.

This show is absolutely hilarious! There are many memorable and key scenes in just this first season alone. The acting is top notch, the jokes are smart and never a dull moment. Recommended if you really enjoy Arrested Development, The Office, The IT Crowd and [scrubs].

First found this show during a free trial of Hulu Plus. I gave up on HuluPlus (Commercials AND I get to pay a monthly fee? No thanks.), but I immediately began looking for this on DVD. It's an excellent comedy, possibly the best of the decade so far. Well worth the purchase.

The Russo brothers directed the paintball episode and demonstrated their grasp of directing the Marvel movies. So watch the season that started it all and show support for a community movie.

I had heard good things about Community, and it's "cult-following". I was not disappointed when I watched season 1. It was hilarious and was right up my alley. I am excited to purchase the other seasons.

This DVD is the first in the great comedy series, "Community". It's a fantastic show and brings an ensemble cast together quickly and does it very well. The perfect "Post-Milleniumal" show? Pretty close...

Good for many laughs, the cast has good chemistry, makes for a good watch if you're looking for a new comedy to enjoy. Got in on sale for a great bargain here, so cheap entertainment for late nights. Adult humor, so not meant for young children.

Community was a show I saw very little of until about the fourth season. At this price I figured it was a good place to start (so I could see Chevy's beginning there . . . among others. I'm sure it's only the beginning).

My sister is a forever-fan of this show, so this was the perfect gift for her. Of course she loved it, and all was right with the world.

Community is an extremely underrated show! It makes me laugh out loud which is hard to make me do with TV. Get the first three seasons now!

I love this show, it has been so long since I've watched this season and forgot how simple it was before it was all paintball and D&D.

Got this for my son (who's a big Community fan) & he was very pleased with this...the bonus comic book helped too.

This show gets funnier and funnier every season!!! Kinda sad that its almost over.. but this season was the best!

META humor at its best. A classic show. Who thoutht community college could be so fun.
