Game changer. I thought it was time to get one installed in my new crossover, so glad I did! Definitely helps to get a head start with the warm up. I got 2 of these one for my truck and one for my wife's. Best Buy installed it and lets just say it makes you not miss sitting in a freezing car to warm it up. This is great for safety too because your doors are locked and you don't have to be in the car. They programmed our OEM key that unlocks/lock doors to work as a backup to start the car as well.

Technication was very informative, about the parts coming in, rescheduled appointment for an earlier time which was awesome, install was clean and very professional looking. The overall install time was shorter than expected. Great experience, will have additional audio installs performed from this tevh and best buy. Great customer service. Have already recommended to several co-workers.

Affordable and installed at store for added convenience

Went for the Viper first, but had to return it due to my jeep seeing it as a reason to turn on my check engine light. Was recommended this one instead because it was a straight plug in unlike the other ones

This is my first aftermarket remote starter, and it seems to work great. I believe it turns on the rear defrost by default for a few minutes, and I am not sure how long the car stays running, but it's less than 30 minutes (if you forget to go out to your car or are delayed after starting it from inside your house, the store/restaurant or a business). The technician was able to sync the equipment with my existing key fobs (sequence of buttons), even though I only had one present, and that means I won't have to use the separate remote starter. This was a Christmas present, but I am very excited that I will get to use it in both the extreme winter cold and heat of the summer to make my car temperature more comfortable. It also creates an element of safety for dark parking lots when getting to your car at night.

Excellent excellent choice for our 2012 Ford taurus sho. The tech even program it to turn on the heated and cooled seat with the auto climate control. The tech was very helpful and professional. I would recommend it even for summer use, also made the wife happy which is a big plus, terre Haute in. Store is very professional and caring.

Love the ease of use and it lets you know when car is started, locked and unlocked. Has great range too.

This is my third purchase to the compustar remote starter. I purchased one for myself and I totally loved it, then bought one for my wife, then another for my mom. I was a little nervous about the problems I have heard from online reviews, but I haven't had any problem with this particular model. Bestbuy Geeksquade did a great job installing it. PS, It would worth it to upgrade to the 2-way remote for an extra $100.
