This remote starter has proven to be great. The distance that it works in also surprised me in a good way. The installation process with best buy was easy and hassle free. All is going well and I am enjoying having this in my car.

This item has worked out great for me. I put it on my 2016 Acura MDX and it’s been so nice having a warm car in this cold weather. Easy to use and I had a great experience with the install.

My friend recommended getting an automatic starter installed for my 2014 Toyota RAV4 as a combined Christmas/birthday present idea from my family. Had no idea Best Buy offered this service until she told me that’s how she got hers done. Hit a great holiday sale on this model for $265.61 including installation and bought on 12/7/22. Booked appt right away with first available 1/14/23 (two days before my birthday, how fitting) at the Braintree, MA Best Buy. I couldn’t believe how fast installation was in under 45 minutes. The Tech even programmed the Toyota key fob remote too but range is so crappy on that and I just stick to using the Compustar remote with a lot better range (up to 1500 feet). Goes through the front of my townhouse no problem and car starts right up in my spot with no more time delay scraping windshield/windows before work! It does what it’s supposed to and just have to remember to keep heat settings on in winter for car to warm up and AC in summer for cooling down. I like how I have two remotes with one as a back up should battery die. Extremely satisfied customer!

Product is excellent. The install was where it fell apart. Received call asking for the car to be brought in at 8:30am. Install tech was late, never showed till 9. Then never got a call or text that it was complete, later in the afternoon i had to call and confirm completion. Starter is great and works great, just could really use some work in the install drpartment.

This is my second Compustar remote start purchase. I purchased one in 2012 for my SUV and it never failed me. Worked perfectly for the 13 years I had the vehicle. I sold the vehicle and purchased another SUV this year, and immediately had this remote start installed. It has been working without any issues. I am very pleased!

Remote start, works great , no problems no issues. This unit will start my vehicles from a good distance way. Great for these cold days ahead.

Bought this system for my oldests christmas present. Priced reasonably and the tha install went faster than was told. So far its been super reliable and he uses dsily and after he gets out of school in the middle of thw night from college he enjoys a preheated vehicle

This starter has good range and works great by far the best

No frills, just a simple remote start. I will say the range on this is quite good, and I've had no issues yet with getting the system to start. It was a welcome change this winter to having a car that was all warmed up and not having to make the beginning of my commute in a freezing car.

I purchased this and the alarm add on kit for my truck. I had been a fan of Viper alarms for many years but there was an issue with Viper remote start/alarms not engaging the compressor in my Nissan truck when remote starting. In other words, with certain vehicle makes, the remote starter is unable to engage the compressor so when you remote start your vehicle to try and cool it off before you get in, all it does is blow warm air. Compustar's do not have this bug and it works great in my truck. The first unit I had installed in my truck started flaking out after about a month of having it so I took it back in to BestBuy and they installed a new one which is working great now. Highly recommend purchasing a two way remote to use with this so you get additional features. Also make sure you have BestBuy install this so your item and installed are warrantied for as long as you have it. The install was flawless.
