I just had this remote starter installed a few weeks ago. Its fantastic! I use dit both with and without the extra fobs included. This starter is awesome. Its already saved me tine and hassle on cold mornings before xommuting to work. I wpuld absolutely buy again. For the price, i can't say enough good tbings about it.

Bought this for my Fiancee for Christmas. She has a 2009 Chevy Trailblazer and this thing works to perfection. Solid range, has lock & unlock capabilities as well as remote start. It has saved us a few times this winter. It is very reliable. Would recommend to anyone!

Remote starter from Bestbuy sale event cost me 300.00 for starter it self and 60.00 bucks for T harness. Easy to use , i'm third time returning buyer for three different cars It works well.

My friend recommended getting an automatic starter installed for my 2014 Toyota RAV4 as a combined Christmas/birthday present idea from my family. Had no idea Best Buy offered this service until she told me that’s how she got hers done. Hit a great holiday sale on this model for $265.61 including installation and bought on 12/7/22. Booked appt right away with first available 1/14/23 (two days before my birthday, how fitting) at the Braintree, MA Best Buy. I couldn’t believe how fast installation was in under 45 minutes. The Tech even programmed the Toyota key fob remote too but range is so crappy on that and I just stick to using the Compustar remote with a lot better range (up to 1500 feet). Goes through the front of my townhouse no problem and car starts right up in my spot with no more time delay scraping windshield/windows before work! It does what it’s supposed to and just have to remember to keep heat settings on in winter for car to warm up and AC in summer for cooling down. I like how I have two remotes with one as a back up should battery die. Extremely satisfied customer!

Reliable auto start. Have one on a 22 Wrangler as well as a 24 Compass, and both work flawlessly. Range is fair for the price. Caught both on sale different years around the holidays, but would be a good buy at full price.

This remote starter has proven to be great. The distance that it works in also surprised me in a good way. The installation process with best buy was easy and hassle free. All is going well and I am enjoying having this in my car.

This is the base remote starter package kit that is needed to have a remote starter on your vehicle. It is a basic kit and after purchasing this, it is simple and basic. I have an upgraded version on my other vehicle which beeps back at you letting you know it has started, lock and unlock. The upgraded two way is about $150 more. If you are just looking for the basic, this is one for you. It is only a one way communication so you don't get the additional beeping acknowledgment. This was put on my wife's 2012 Toyota Avalon. She loves it as is, but I do look back on it and wish I had purchased the up model. Geek Squad installed it and there was no problems and works as advertised. Please note, you must purchase the remote starter from Best Buy for them(Geek Squad) to install. I saw a lot of complaints on Best Buy website about not installing remote starters that were purchased elsewhere, even if it is the same model and brand that they sell, I purchased this on sale, so if you are not in a rush, keep an eye out for this and wait for a sale to come around. It will likely save you $100. Once you have the remote starter, immediately schedule with Best Buy for installation. They were about 2 weeks out in scheduling and I think it took them 3.5 to 4 hours to complete the installation. Keep yourself entertained if you plan on waiting for it, which I did. Brought an extra batter charger for my phone. Hope this helps in your decision to purchase. I believe it comes with two key fobs and just be aware that you may need to purchase an additional wiring harness kit, but the geek squad guys will let you know if that is the case. And just fyi, the older the vehicle, I think it may be harder for them to hook up the remote starter. Newer, modern vehicles, seem to be more uniform and easier for the guys to add a remote start.

This item has worked out great for me. I put it on my 2016 Acura MDX and it’s been so nice having a warm car in this cold weather. Easy to use and I had a great experience with the install.

The gentleman Keith was very professional in putting my remote starter into my car. He explained how it was being installed. The remote start was something I needed, the product is amazing how with a button starts your vehicle. I am so impressed and satisfied with the quality of the remote starter. Every person over the age of 50 should have one.

I purchased this and the alarm add on kit for my truck. I had been a fan of Viper alarms for many years but there was an issue with Viper remote start/alarms not engaging the compressor in my Nissan truck when remote starting. In other words, with certain vehicle makes, the remote starter is unable to engage the compressor so when you remote start your vehicle to try and cool it off before you get in, all it does is blow warm air. Compustar's do not have this bug and it works great in my truck. The first unit I had installed in my truck started flaking out after about a month of having it so I took it back in to BestBuy and they installed a new one which is working great now. Highly recommend purchasing a two way remote to use with this so you get additional features. Also make sure you have BestBuy install this so your item and installed are warrantied for as long as you have it. The install was flawless.

No frills, just a simple remote start. I will say the range on this is quite good, and I've had no issues yet with getting the system to start. It was a welcome change this winter to having a car that was all warmed up and not having to make the beginning of my commute in a freezing car.

Best buy recommended this to my friend who gifted to me because I've never really thought about having one of these. But once you have experience remote start and then you don't have it the year of the coldest ice storm in years I guess everyone around me new how much I missed it and this one has honestly made it worse it is a lot better than what I had because it is how I start my car every time not just when it's cold and best buy nailed it great quality so easy to use as well as came with Free install which my friend said was amazing because pricing it at other places. The install alone started at 300 bucks and went up from there so thank you amazing product and install went perfect and if it wasn't for you guys cold and no friends is where I would be

Product is excellent. The install was where it fell apart. Received call asking for the car to be brought in at 8:30am. Install tech was late, never showed till 9. Then never got a call or text that it was complete, later in the afternoon i had to call and confirm completion. Starter is great and works great, just could really use some work in the install drpartment.

Well if you want the best remote starter with the best install on that remote starter, BEST BUY IS THE ONLY OPTION! This is the 3 rd remote starter (same one) and the 3rd time I’ve had BEST BUY DO IT FOR ME! Love this pick for the remote start and Best Buy to install it which is included in the purchase that Best Buy installs it! Tho the only problem I have with the transaction it doesn’t state you have to purchase the wiring harness and it should be included in the transaction when you buy the remote starter! It adds great value to your car you HAVE AND VALUE in it and NOT TO MENTION WE LIVE IN OHIO! Have your car warm before u get in it! Love love love remote starter and BEST BUY

Remote start, works great , no problems no issues. This unit will start my vehicles from a good distance way. Great for these cold days ahead.
